I noticed you mentioned removing the vents. They make a vent that just hooks up and eliminates the need to use them to go outside. The ones we sell at the HomeDepot are call Studivents and maybe can be an alternative. Hope that helps. Haffy

It depends. In commercial they're done at like four or five year. A family cow is old around 10 or 12. She's 10.
