More than anything I love how they showcase Android 18's humanity, nobility, and emotional side in the Super 17 saga. It was the first time as an audience we got to see Android 18 and Goku have an actual heart-to-heart conversation and it's a perfect example of why Goku is the ultimate MC, easily comforting a character that was designed to kiII him once upon a time, Goku has a natural ability of bringing people together, because of all that I tear up anytime I watch this saga the same I did 14+ years ago when I was a kid.

An alternate universe 18 killed an alternate universe Goku, but that’s it. Trunks lived through a version of 18 destroying his whole life killing everyone he knew, and the current one shattering his father’s pride and last they met he was trying to kill her. We got the 18 moment that was deserved.

@@justinsdenI wish it gave characters more depth before it cumulated into the two androids merging. It would make sense for him to attack a city first, then draw the Z fighters there. Then we could have seen 17 try to manipulate 18 all the while trying to actually fight the mind control. We needed more internal fighting from OG 17, because he won't be content with being a mindless slave to another doctor and a mere clone of himself.
