I grew up watching Justin Wilson. He talked like much of my family, cooked like much of my family and seemed like family. He was a major influence on me - instilling a love of cooking and telling stories. He is a true hero of mine, may he rest in peace. Please continue posting these.... I have truly missed him!

Isn't it nice to see a kitchen that has no computer, microwave or "assistant", these were the golden days! Thank You Sir for making my Life a lot happier since I had a terrible Childhood & this man was my "escape every Saturday while had to clean the house before I was old enough to could get a job!"

Mr.Justin Wilson is a Cajun Cook, now the difference between Creole, & Cajun is that Creole is City Cooking, & Cajun is Country Cooking.

He was a comedian first.
@d.aardent9382Ай бұрын
@mespoppa his main occupation was a safety engineer/safety inspector according to what he says himself several times on series and in his interview with Louisiana Legends on Louisiana public tv. He talks about going to oil drilling rigs and other things doing inspections. He said in the interview he wasnt a comedian in the definition of that word as he said he was more of a observer of humor and people and just liked to collect funny stories and lore. He also said he was a police officer, even as he was older. But his storytelling he said became a bigger side gig as he gained notoriety through his safety officer job.

Kinda like more in the tradition of Mark Twain's kind of way of doing stories and humor i would say, as Clemmons would travel around and collect stories and observe things and would do stage presentations telling stories.
