Hi! Long time listener, first time caller :) Re: washing clothes w cold water - you still might want to run a hot water cycle once in a while for the maintenance of your machine. At least that’s the tip we got when our household’s newnew washer was leaving streaks on our laundry, even with different detergents bc we only ran cold cycles. Ok love all the vids bye now!!!!

What Ryan alluded to reminded me of the poem 'A Seeming Stillness' by David Whyte. We love the movement in a seeming stillness, the breath in the body of the loved one sleeping, the highest leaves in the silent wood, a great migration in the sky above: the waters of the earth, the blood in the body, the first, soft, stir in the silence beneath a strident voice, the internal hands of our mind, always searching for touch, thoughts seeking other thoughts, seeking other minds, the great arrival of form through all our hidden themes. worth a read if you're into that sort of thing!

Oui ! I grew up in France, so having home cook meals, and drying clothes on the rack (except bed sheets and towels) are habits that stayed with me. Nice charcuterie platter ;) next time you are on Grandville Island pick up some "traditional" saucisson sec from Oyama Sausage at the public market, they also have some patés...

Putting things back is huge for me. It goes with keeping your keys etc i the same place... it drives me insane when 'people' run around wasting time because they have 'lost' something. Perhaps I'm merely becoming less tolerant as I age 😊 Great tips, Joe.

I enjoy your "day in the life" vlogs. I took your suggestion and got some art materials-pencils and a sketch book but I've yet to find the time to do anything with them. Also I've been trying to do the pick up and put away concept. I have a one bedroom condo and it's just me and I still find it difficult to stay on top of the neatness. More things to work on.

Sunscreen is must, but finding the one that suits one's skin is hard. I am a caramel skin indian and wrong sunscreen makes me look like thanos lite 😂😂😂(due to the white residue of sunscreen and my brown skintone it looks shiny grey-blueish)
