Fun concept for a run: you change the type only according to the last gym you've beaten. For example, you defeat Milo, you use Grass types until you beat Nessa, then change to Water types

You should definitely dynamax. It's stupid not to use a mechanic the ai is going to use. Forget all of the people saying not to, they can go and do their own playthrough.

Yeah I had never used Galarian Darmanitan until a run I did a couple months ago, and wow !! One of my favorites from Gen 8 now, at least when it comes to in game play(not necessarily design though, haha). It’s so much fun to use and a total power house !

Umm, So I take it you didn’t know that Seedot & it’s Shield counterpart Lotad can be found on Route 2 as random grass encounters

So fun fact: Slurpuff has a 5 point difference between Special Attack and Attack (85 and 80 respectively) so you Could have done a Belly Drum + Unburden set with Play Rough and Drain Punch with either a Heal berry or a Stat boost Berry. It also gets Sticky Web at level 42 Edit: Scratch that, it in fact doesn't learn belly drum and I've been playing way too much Showdown Hackmons 2nd edit: I was wrong in my first edit, Slurpuff actually does get it from gen 7 as a transfer move

Sword is the harder choice for a version exclusive nuzlocke given that I believe Shield has the better version exclusives for the most part (biggest misses are SirFetch'd and Galar Darmanitan), so I'm happy with this choice.

The reason you did so much to coalossal is because stonjourner used wonder room which swaps defense and special defense of the Pokémon, that is also why you almost fainted the stonjourner with u-turn

Cool challenge run that i myself may do, you can only use the same type as the next gym, and maybe only use as many pokemon as the gym uses. As for the elite 4 (or whatever its called in galar) maybe just use one of each type the 4 have?

I’m curious how you do your wild area encounters? Like do you have any limits or anything? People have so many different ways of doing it, and I got intrigued after you said you can’t catch Jangmo-o anymore due to failing the encounter there, so I really would love to know your method! For myself, I do one initial catch/encounter, and then I can catch one more after each gym badge. But I know people who just catch all the encounters that they can get at the moment, and I know others who allow one encounter per section of the wild area, as well as many more methods.
