What's not to love about apocalyptic zombie cowboys doing goth rock? \m/

Albums are great, but seeing them live is a spiritual experience

I suggest doing a whole album review of Elizium, as a lot of the songs blend into eachother. It's absolutely brilliant, as is the standalone single Psychonaut (Lib III is my favourite version), which was written using the Golden Ratio apparently ! They were even better live, and they didn't do concerts, they held "Ceremonies".

Hi there. So happy you got to this track. A lovesong for Marjoryvthe Trash Heap! The beginning feels shorter during the next listens probably because of the anticipation of the final. Still, I would have shortened the beginning and extended the end just to reach into the sky for longer. Yes, Elizium is next, but remember thay you should listen to from "dead but dreaming" until "paradize regained" in one go. Same for "Wail of Summer" and "And there will your heart be also." These are parts of the same songs. If wait we must, then I support the requests for Psychonaut, although Lib III is the version to listen to first, imo. Lib IV is a close second but makes more sense after Lib III. Hugs.

Lib III is my favourite too.

It has got to be said, you have selected some great bands and artists for your channel that aren't as obvious or copycat as many other channels... well done!

Elizium is the next album, yes, but have you checked out their first album, DawnRazor ? All 3 albums are amazing imo. Lifelong Nephilim fan(watchman) look forward to seeing more reactions on them 👍 forever remain.

Teenage me, lying in the dark, eyes closed, this playing on my record player. Bliss. Thank you for reminding me how overdue I am for another listen to this masterpiece of an album.

At last. Well done. Classic.

I also second, third or fifth or whatever both Pyschonaut and Elizium. Absolutely brilliant stuff.

This song is the Freebird of gothic rock. At the shows everyone is waiting for it and we're all celebrating it through the buildup tension of the first half on to the tempo change. Similar to the solo in Freebird. Needless to say that ecstasy spreads throughout the audience as soon as the tempo increases.

One of my favorite tunes from Fields is "For her Light" from the "Elizium" ...maybe check it out. Another suggestion Song "Springtime" from the Album "Mush" (not only for me the best punkrock album of all time) from "Leatherface" - my favorite Band of all time. Thanx for doing this, lot of reaction stuff is boring & uninspired, but its obvious, you are into music passion and doin`this really good. Also great, you took a look on the lyrics.

I enjoyed the album. I hadn't heard any of their music before Justin started this album. I didn't even realise they were a British band, initially I thought they might be American. The music seems quite repetitive but I find there's always enough subtle changes going on to keep it interesting, and I like the gloomy atmosphere. At first I was kind of comparing them with The Cure, but actually their music feels very different, overall.

Great Band. Their early stuff sounds so different from this, but still very cool.

My favourite Neph track by far. You'll realise after many listens that the long build up is needed to transition to the fast outro. Knowing it is coming changes how you listen to the track.

First time listen. Do I want those 9 minutes and 47 seconds back? No, no I don't. They were freely given and I have no regrets about their passing.

Good for you for taking a risk and listening to lesser known bands, instead of kissing ass and doing things you KNOW will increase "like and subscribe" THINK LONG TERM PROFESSOR!!!!

For me it is the best song on the album, the last 3 minutes are a delight... Now you have to listen to "Psychonaut" the single they released between this album "The Nephilim" and the next one "Elizium" There are 4 versions but for me the best one without a doubt is the 4th one "Psychonaut Lib. IV" It also has 2 versions of "Celebrate" "Celebrate (Second Seal)" & "Celebrate (Second Seal) Full Version" which are different from the album version and somewhat different from each other.
@df15gadgetАй бұрын
I love Lib IV, but Lib III makes more sense for a first listen imo. Without knowing what is to come , the first half of Lib IV may seem long (?). Will be happy with either of them tbh.
@DuctedDjАй бұрын
@@df15gadgetIt can react to any of the 2 and even to any of the 4. But it is precisely that first part of Lib. IV, which makes it so that when it makes the change, it is magic. Anyway, the important thing is that it reacts to Psychonaut in any of its versions.

I think there was a decent song struggling to get out of there but, alas, it was tied up in someone's basement while they were away buying hair dye and razor blades.
