This is the song they played so floor could change into a skirt and top. Her zipper infamously acted up, holding the beginning of the next song up for about 5 seconds until she came running out and grabbing the mike!

This song always gives me the image of a group of brothers hanging out, jamming together and having fun. Almost like they were in the woods, sitting around a bonfire enjoying their time together while they have it. ❤

Instant goosebumps... This is a very special Nightwish song. It brings pure joy to my heart. See the smiling faces, feel the energy, see the happiness everywhere around. They play their hearts out! All that is good in this world fills my thoughts. Nightwish are amazing Eric.. They heal broken souls and allow one to experience something so rare and unexplainable - it´s a truly special feeling. You always do the best reactions Eric :D

This creation of Tuomas, Jukka, Troy, Marco, and Emppu is just so good! And yes...I wish Jukka was still the drummer....he was so animated... and fun to watch. Like his drum solo in Storytime...fantastic! But...as someone who suffered from Insomnia, and chronic sleep apnea...I know what it's like to get next to no REM Sleep....less that 2 minutes per hour. I hallucinated during the day at work...at home...every where! My Doctor that treated me kept me in the hospital for several days while he tried different sleep apnea treatments, medication and a Bipap machine, which I still use to this day...22 years later! ( I am on my 3rd Machine ). Just a note Eric....I really appreciate all of the hard work it takes for you to react to the music....cough, cough....Nightwish....cough...cough.....! 😂😂😂😂 I am disabled, and don't get out very often...but...you really are quite entertaining... and I look forward to your reactions!

This song also has lyrics, and it's sheer, beautiful poetry as only Tuomas can write - it's a deep dive into the Finnish soul. It sounds even more epic when sung in Finnish. Lol...Cats (my jam)... not only does Tuomas love cats...back in the song, Song Of Myself, Tuomas gives us the line, "A princess and a panther by my side"... Emppu is the panther. Truer words, man...about Jukka on drums! To me he looks at once, riding a Harley, and about to take flight! Barely contained...

Tuoma is the brain of the band and Emppu is the glue, that holds the band together. NW without Tuomas or without Emppu is not possible. These two guys are Nightwish.

The hopefully melancholy tone runs right through Nightwish's music... that tone reminds me so much of Pink Floyd. Musically, it is achieved, in part, by subtle mixing up of a predominantly minor key but switching briefly (and back and forth) with a major key. It's just such a beautiful sound. I get the very same chills from the Eillean pipes as you. I'm a Highlander by birth, and while of course the Irish pipes have a different sound to bagpipes (they sound far nice than bagpipes in my opinion) they give me that exact same vibe of "home". They always give me that "I've come home" feel.... it's priceless to me. This is all before I get to Kai, Emppu and Marko in this song. Emppu's guitar playing sick in this

Kai is Peart to Jukka’s Bonham - one is precise, technical, powerful. The other is groove, felt through every part of his body and pouring out through his drum kit. Both great, but very very different.

Thanks for this one Eric. This kind of folky metal, or is it metally folk, gives me chills with goosebumps on top. And this one does for sure. The Eyes of Sharbat Gula from Nightwish does the same to me, such a wonderful piece of music.

Great one to let Troy show off, with the Uilleann pipes and the tin whistle,..... and give Emppu time to clown around, before getting down to business. lol Eramaan Viimeinen is the same song, a couple minor differences, with Finnish lyrics, and sung by Jonsu of Indica.

I like how the Irish pipes and guitar first goes through this synchronized pattern then each add there own break away riff then the return back to Synchronized again. Very fun. Now that we've been talking about this instrumental also having a lyrics version, I'd like to suggest Apocalyptica as they've done this sort of thing quite often as well. I'm sure you know the band as I've understood they've been quite popular in the states as well. My all time favorite song from Apocalytica is "Path" (from 2000 album Cult). My favorite Nightwish track! So much to say. My dad judges songs based on how fast the officer tells you that you were going. This song abides by this rule. It's rare to see "the boys" all play the moment together. Never seen them so happy together. Chinese Kung fu is my passion - whole body movement. Jukka embodies that - he can't shake a tambourine without putting his whole body into it. His pace becomes a heartbeat. Two words: Jonsuu. They did a version of this with a Finnish singer, singing in Finnish. It's sublimely awesome. Two more words: Empuu. Most underrated guitarist ever!

RE: Jukka vs Kai .. IMO Kai os the boss of the drums and he gets them to do whatever he wants them to do and he is master of them in a boss /employee sort of way. .. But Jukka!!! Jukka is part of the drums in a Zen sort of of way where he becomes one with the drums and conductor of the drums

I've said this in a bunch of reactions but it is mind-boggling how much energy Jukka has while he is literally suffering due to insomnia....... Can we just imagine how good he would be if he didn't have insomnia....... I mean maybe he played the drums in that manner because he knew he wouldn't be playing forever I think he knew that the insomnia was going to overpower him at one point in time.

He had it already in the 90s long before his insomnia problems. Jukka was a big Stratovarius (Finnish power metal band, if you don't know) fan when they started Nightwish and he was definitely influenced by Jörg Michael, who is a very energetic and powerful drummer and often wore pandana on his head.
