I only knew one person who all the girls liked, a friend of mine I knew from middle school and onwards girls used to follow us home all the time trying to talk to him, he was a very genuine dude like they way he acted around us he acted around the girls at school. People would label us the rocker kids or whatever, but he was a funny guy and girls from different social groups would look for him and try to talk to him. He was average height fairly good looking guy but there was not a day were a girl didn’t ask me about him since we were friends. It wasn’t until high school came around that I had transferred into the same high school as him 3 weeks into the school year and I was waiting in the office for my classes with another pretty girl. I reunited with my friend and he was the same as he was in middle school, funny and very genuine to everyone. 2 months later I was walking in the hallway and I saw her and over heard her talking about him that she thought he was really nice and wanted to get to know more about him. Months passed and I asked him about it but the girl didn’t end up approaching him. It’s a given that some people aren’t going like you but being genuine and not putting up a front or being overtly nice or trying to be somebody else can take you a long way. People can kinda read your character and feel your vibe and it’s a lot harder trying to be someone else and genuine at the same time.

I think the fear of rejection stumps guys most when they're the most inexperienced, which is usually in youth. When I was a teen, I remember being flustered around my crushes yet in any other social interaction I was the class clown often times steering topics of discussion for my peers. The older I got the more lessons I learned, one of which that they touched upon in the video was the way I view the opposite sex, when I was at my worst it was because I put them on a pedestal but similar to Bart I had some W's with girls I thought were out of my league, and it was completely based on my ability to have a good conversation and my perception changed and they were suddenly grounded in my mind thus more approachable. The less I cared about rejection the more I became comfortable with being myself, a No isn't even the worst you could get, even a rude/disrespectful No is preferable to a wishy washy non-answer in my opinion.
