Looking back I can’t believe they allowed some of the songs they allowed at the middle school and high school dances

lol I have seen YT shorts where there is a woman who re listens to songs from the 80's and 90's and actually listens to the lyrics, only to finally realize what the singers were singing about, and the shock on her face is priceless.😂

@@bethnichols2875 it’s kind of interesting how a lot of the lyrics went over even our parents heads growing up and it was just normal haha but they are so right with how music today is too on the nose

The ones that stand out the most for my middle school dances were Too Close by Next and Peaches & Cream by 112. That would not fly today!

Damn this making me reminiscing how long ago it was and how different the times was. Once having experienced that time of innocence and growing into those teenage years, and now having kids - it’s a totally different experience. You can be the best parent you want but ultimately, it’s not your choice of when and who they lose their innocence to. Damn, I’m old 🥲
We freaked in like middle school or 5th damn 94 babies 😂

This reminds me of one time in the club when I saw a dude feeling a girl with his fingers under her skirt against the wall. 😮 Where people were passing by.

Yeah, I'm from the bump and grind era. We were basically f'ing on the dance floor. Then, if you have a booth in the back of a dimly lit club? For get about it. THEN, my ex was the DJ, so we had the DJ booth, lol. Next - To Close was SO GOOD.
