I'm a nervous flyer and watching you control the aircraft so beautifully is really going to help me. Many years ago I flew from London to Male but couldn't relax enough to enjoy the flight, and then spent 10 days on Baros Island worrying about the flight back to London! Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos.

I used to love this flight. Did it on A330 and A350 with Qatar Airways. ETOPS most of the way so use of the terrific CPDLC was used. A bit surprised the new runway not opened yet. Shout out to the air traffic controllers for handling all the backtracking with arriving/departing traffic and also for Hulhule Hotel, the layover hotel. Good memories!!

It's the Arab gulf & Arab sea . Go cry & say yaa Hussain 😂😂😂😂
@aryoubarzanghiasian5 ай бұрын
hello captain From an educated and experienced person, these words and treatment are very inappropriate. I am also not a Muslim to follow Hussein and ask for help from a person who died 1400 years ago. I wish people would respect each other more, then the world would be a better place. I'm sorry for you who don't read history to understand that the name of the Persian Gulf has always been the Persian Gulf when there were no Arabs, sir.
@analyzer56952 ай бұрын
@@aryoubarzanghiasian The Arabs are peoples whose origins trace back to the Arabian Peninsula. Historical evidence and archaeological findings indicate that Arabs have been living in this region since ancient times, approximately around 3000 BCE. Settlement: The Arab tribes were among the first to settle in the Arabian Peninsula, and their culture and language have developed independently since that time. The Persians, or Iranians, are peoples whose origins trace back to the region of modern-day Iran. The history of the Persians begins with ancient Iranian civilizations, such as the Medes and the Achaemenid Persians, dating back to approximately 550 BCE. Settlement: Advanced Persian civilizations existed prior to the Achaemenid era, such as the Median civilization. However, the Achaemenid Persian Empire, established in 550 BCE, is considered one of the first major Persian empires. My question to you is: Who is ignorant of history ?

@@couchpotato5655I don think so. I often can watch the aircraft from its arrival at the airport until I board it. Especially low cost airlines have a ground time less than an hour mostly, when I fly.

the 777 cockpit looks so old compared to a modern cockpit in the A380 or A350.

Nothing called an ‘old’ cockpit. It’s got the exact same stuff that the a380 or a350 should have.
@christianbayerstein52433 ай бұрын
@@ictoan no, the 777 has tiny screens and no sidesticks, no foldable table for the pilots. That is 20th century technology , not 21st like Airbus.

I mean the 777-300 is a 1997 aircraft lol what did u expect, for an aircraft that old it aged like fine wine tbh the systems are still compatible with everything today even things like CPDLC are not used in most airports, the 777X has a much more modern cockpit that is what u should compare the 350 and 380 to not the 777-300

Cross winds + heavy aircraft & landing in an island . You don't wanna chase a smooth one 😊😊 safety first
@NotTheRambo4 ай бұрын
Tell me you don't know shit about aviation without telling me. In case of wet runway, a "hard" landing is preferred over a "smooth" one. They want the landing gears to firmly stick to the ground to provide maximum braking otherwise there is a risk of hydroplaning.
