Favorite part of each character so far: The way Condi puts emotion into Emizel's voice, especially aggression, is peak. Bizly's accent for Shilo reminds me of Viktor and it's adorable. Haven't seen Grizzly's character yet so I will edit this msg when I do! Edit: holy fuck grizzly I am giggling and kicking my feet what the hell I really like the storytelling of Arthur's blackened veins yet rolled up sleeves. It's not that he happens to be wearing a t-shirt, he explicitly uncovers his arms almost like he wants them to be seen.

First impressions of the characters: Emizel: absolutely love the dark, angry-gritty vibe of this guy, and I think it'll be really fun to have him learning how to be a vampire around Shilo and Arthur, both of whom seem to really know what they're doing (to a degree at least). Very intrigued to see how his relationships with the mortals in his life--Soda, his father--shape up and how he deals with learning about the world of vampires. Also, bravo on the voice acting Condi you're popping off Shilo: my boy! I love the design, it's very classic vampire with a Twist (tm) and the voice is super cool! I like that he plays more into the medieval, noble stereotype while still being unique in his own way, and I'm super curious to see how the consequences of his escape end up playing into the greater story, especially because LA seems to be run by his clan Arthur: I am SO intrigued by this guy's backstory; if he was around in 1913 that means he lived through both world wars and he's mentioned some stuff about being a soldier already, so I'm curious to see how that shapes up. He's definitely the most experienced with being a vampire in a mortal world out of the three, so I'm excited to see what kind of mentor-like role he takes for Shilo and Emizel. Thank you JRWI crew! This was a delightful first episode from start to finish, from the visuals to the music to the voices and voice acting. Can't wait to see what happens next!

I'm typing this the day before the episode releases, I will come back and edit it if I'm right about anything: - Grizzly's character makes a sex joke - Bizly rolls a crit fail on something very important: *check lmao, Shilo is a cringefail loser and I love him* - Bizly rolls a crit success on a bit - Condi's character eats garbage (it's a feeling I have okay) - Charlie is left completely perplexed by the decisions of his players: *check, and no shock it’s Bizly* - It gets horny (at least once): *check, the scary man made a kissing joke* - Someone slips up and says the wrong PC name for someone else: *check lmao* - There are rats: *check, Emizel's dad calls him a rat* - There is a plot-significant pun (a-la "Ratnarok") - There is a dog and Charlie once again has to make dog noises: *not quite, it's a cat and also a horse* - Bizly's character slips and falls like a cartoon character (also a feeling) - There is a surprise 4th PC (doubtful but possible) - Condi's character freaks out a random civilian: *check, I guess, he trips some guy and scares him* - One of the PCs enthralls another PC (I doubt this in the first ep but who knows) - There is an among us joke - PCs lie to each other (for the angst) - Someone turns into a bat (idk if this is something you can do in this system): *check, Uncle Lazarus does it* - Someone has sex

You can turn into a bat, but only when you're at a higher "level". Changing into a bat, bird, or a different animal smaller than what you actually are is "metamorphosis", which is a level 4 power of the protean discipline (disciplines are vampiric powers, protean is shapechanging), so you can't get it if the characters start out without any xp, since the highest level power you can get in the character creation of a fledgling (essentially making a level 1 character) is level 3. Level 3 protean lets you transform into a wolf, tiger, or something else that's a similar size to a human.

My theory is half brothers, Jeff or whatever his dads name was being called by a first name in the tabs the queen was keeping sounds incredibly personal so I feel like the queen might have had a thing with him and had a human baby, no mention of emizel having a mother yet too.
