I think the best part of Brain Dump for me is how Max is able to pull off the banter between him and Goofball. It feels so natural, and it’s honestly impressive. Genuinely some of the best content on KZbin.

I'd be willing to bet that the reason the conversations between himself and Goofball are so convincing is because he's actually had a lot of those conversations with himself in his own mind, you know... give or take some details but the basic idea that's being conveyed on screen is in tact. But yeah, That's one of many things I also appreciate about his show.

I've watched Max since Wacky Game Jokes 4 Kids, so even before his MLP series really made his channel take off. He's always been one of YT's most talented artists, and I admire how he's continued to strive to be better despite all his insecurities. Brain Dump is one of the funniest and insightful running series on KZbin, and it deserves more credit, I think.

I've always said brain dumb is without exaggeration the best animated thing on KZbin. And I don't mean literally. The characters, the 4-wall but not overtly in-your-face commentary, the "story" even! You can really feel brain dump isn't just another KZbin animated project. I really like that you point out how Max, while dealing with a ton of stress and lack of motivation, still acts in a heavily flawed manner that doesn’t make him _too_ sympathetic. If we were expected to constantly feel sorry for him, the show wouldn’t become fun to watch anymore-it’d just be his pity party. Having him act out in a way that’s both comedic and realistic adds a lot to its depth and watchability. It’s why shows like Bojack Horseman are so iconic.

Brain Dump is my favourite channel and I'm glad to see it get some recognition via a review like this! I've seen so many people write off Max's work as "The guy who did MLP animations" so it's nice to see you expand into what his current work is like. It's so odd to me when people say Max has lost his edge, when very recently he made the wildest possible Velma take (and fanart (?) (Is it still fanart if you don't like the thing you're drawing?)), Twitter users got insanely mad at him (as usual) just for him to make a joke about Scooby Doo and the _gamer word_ so cleverly made you can choose to be mad at it yet you couldn't call it racist per se, 'cause you, the viewer, were the one putting meaning to that joke. He's still an double edge blade, but he's also more clever and mature, and eloquent enough to make edgy jokes with actual meaning and full calculated.

I personally think that max the creator and max the character actually aren't too different and I think this is max the creator expressing his feelings into art. Also I think it was kind of a cool double thing because remember when you said it was like self deprecating humor with goofball being voiced by max telling max why he's bad, and then you talked about when he said goofball was making him miserable but it was actually him, IT WAS LITERALLY HIM, both in real life with the production of the show and in the show
