Welcome to Another Cooking 101 Class where we are making Bunkhouse Stroganoff Pie
Meat Mixture Ingredients:
2 lbs of ground beef
1 medium onion chopped
2 Cups shredded carrots
1 1/2 T of parsley
1 T minced onion
1/2 Cup bread crumbs (i used super seed mixed with oatmeal)
1/2 Cup heavy cream
1/2 T salt
1/2 T black pepper
1/2 T garlic
1/2 T thyme
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 block cream cheese
1-2 Cups beef broth
2 large eggs
3 T of Cup whole milk
2 Cups cream of mushroom soup or 1 Cup of diced bella mushrooms
Directions:
1. Cook the meat on medium heat and add all of the dry spices reserving 1/4 tablespoon of salt and black pepper and Worcestershire sauce
2. Add the onions and carrots.
3. Continue to cook until the meat is done, and the veggies are soft. )I added a little bit of beef broth because my meat was so lean there was no fat to help cook veggies.)
4. Add block of cream cheese, whipping cream, and cream of mushroom soup. 
5. once the cream cheese is melted, and it stirred well add in the breadcrumbs (or super seed) to the pan and stir again. 
6. Set aside
Crust Ingredients:
3 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of white sugar
1/2 cup of shortening
1/2 cup of butter, softened
8 T of cold water

Directions:
1. Add all of the dry ingredients together and mix with a whisk
2. Cut in the shortening and butter until nice and crumbly.
3. slowly add in the cold water in 1 tablespoon of time until the dough is nice and soft but not too wet.
4. Remove the dough from the bowl need 5 to 6 times. Separate into two parts and roll one out on a floured surface and place in the bottom of your cast iron pan.
5. Pour the meat mixture on top of the bottom crust in the pan.
6. Roll out the other ball of dough and placed on top of the meat mixture. Seal the edges and make sure to cut air holes for steam to be released.
7. Combine the eggs and milk, and with togther and Brush over the top of the crust.
8. Bake at 375° for about 30 to 40 minutes.
