He had lost his voice completely just a couple of days before the show. Even the morning of the show, he still couldn't talk, and had to get a throat injection just to loosen up the muscles enough to get any sound out. He didn't want to let the fans down, so on stage he ignored the pain and kept smiling so the audience wouldn't know, and he forced his voice as much as he could in order to give a good performance. It wasn't until he was completely out of view of the audience in the back halls of the building that he dropped the smiles grabbing his throat in severe pain. He's a true professional, always giving his audience his best efforts.

Hi, I love your comments, they are very educated. I have learned a lot from you commenting on everything that goes on with Dimash's voice as he is singing. Just as an FYI, when Dimash performed this particular song he was very ill, he lost his voice I think the night before the competition or woke up that way the day of. They gave him 4 shots on his throat but was still not feeling well. But as you can see or shall we say hear, he sounds as if there was nothing wrong with him. When he walked out he was touching his throat because it hurt. The song is very emotional, a true story about a boy that was in an accident with his parents and the bus derailed or something and last minute his father picked him up and threw him out of the bus to safety. The song depicts how he saw his parents for the last time just vanishing further away as he just lay there watching. 19 tourists were killed in that accident in China. The composer and original song singer later adopted the boy, he's a teen now. Dimash has a very close knit and loving family so you can imagine and see when he sings it, how much it hits where it hurts most. Thanks so much for your reactions to the songs I have seen so far. You truly know what you're talking about and your baffled face really gets me every time. But Dimash can't be categorized. He is unique!

Мне температура и боль в горле,приправленное бронхитом наоборот помогает преодолеть и взять ноту,которую в норм.состоянии не могу поднять.Знаю,что это плохо для голоса,но когда связки нагреты,легче.Не советую пробовать,можно вообще голоса лишиться обычного и надолго.
