I like the lines and style of the 5'11" so much better. Jason rips either way.

Bennett was ripping that 7'0"! Rad to see it go down in person. 🙌

We get it, 7” for tons of speed & drawing out turns. 5’11 for compact high performance surfing.

Or were old, fat and actually still want to catch waves 😂

@@wesleyturner1979 Fair enough, I'd prefer a fish over a mid but that's just me.
@wesleyturner19798 ай бұрын
@@phillysslydogsly4186 I’ve got both and always end up on my 6’6” egg. I’d probably ride my fish more if it had more volume though. Fish are awesome but the egg goes much better for softer points. I like to ride that egg in well overhead point stuff as well because it paddles well.

@@wesleyturner1979 Makes sense, no point breaks by me so I don't have a need. Channel islands makes a mid twin that looks fun but it's crazy expensive.

5'11 takes it

See, way more control sand stability and the 7'0. When riding 5'11 , it's almost as if you have less control. The board can almost not take the high speed turn and wants to wobble and skip out and loose traction. 7'0 looks way more solid. Catch waves faster , don't get hung up and make the wave easier. People need , young people need to start riding what's not going to compromise there surfing. In my eyes , half the world is compromising there surf capabilities because they want to have the , what is cool gear. Get with it kids , step up the leangth. Now!😊

1:43 I was like damn whatta those 2 guyz doing way out back There in fkn kayaks trying to get into the channel lol Where is this? I've never rode anything over 6'6" in my life, as it happens. Idk what it is. I always try to find the hi line and pump my legs as little as possible,and I'd always inch toward the front of the board.Drop in,find a line, get back to the top or transition,repeat. Everyone who ever watched me surf told me "you surf like you're on a fkn longboard,why don't you get one" . I've tried it. I just can't do it for some reason.

7.0 looks clunky and awkward.

because he's trying to ride it like a 6'0'.

Looks like he rips on either

??? Solid lines , total control, no jip japing ganky chop hops. Just round rail surfing. 511 couldn't hold the turn with all the speed and wanted to fly out of the water the whole time. What it looked like to me. Style was way better on the 7'0. One with water.

@@teranhughes77well said. Style was better on 7'0 to me small board was to ginger like . Not holding as well
