I am not nitpicking or something but at this price point automatic lens cover should be a norm. If Epson could mount it on much cheaper projectors , JVC and Sony can do that too :)

Great to see you reviewing these. I feel hands down the JVC projectors are the best performing projectors for HDR on the market! I own the RS-2000 and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Good review, got my 2000 from Zach. Very good upgrade from my old JVC. 4K looks like 120” OLED in my HT room with blackout curtains. New software for Frame Adapt works great so update your 2000

Thanks for telling people about making sure you buy from authorized retailers. Especially on Amazon.

Is Amazon authorized dealer on JVC projector?
@keepingupwiththejones2933
@keepingupwiththejones2933 4 жыл бұрын
@@zztop7000 Any Amazon, eBay or other website that allows you to add the item to the shopping cart is not an authorized dealer. Per JVC's website: JVC projectors are occasionally sold by online retailers who are not authorized to sell JVC products. You should be aware that the products these unauthorized retailers sell: May be refurbished rather than new; Might not include all accessories; Might not include a valid United States warranty; Could be models not meant for sale in the United States. For these reasons, you should make sure to purchase products only from a JVC authorized Procision retailer.

I have a RS1000 and it's simply amazing. Picture is better than my Sony 900E 4K TV, especially after installing the update to 3.10.

Hey! I just figured out if you go to video playback speed and hit .75x the home theater dude sounds normal! I used to think he sped up his videos as he sounds like his voice is sped up. But at. 75x speed he sounds totally normal. Now the other guy sounds really slow but I would imagine if your just playing a video with only "home theater dude" in it will sound normal thru out video. I guess he just talks really fast for whatever reason. Lol

That Home Theater Dude big difference between the two. I’m torn between getting a $4500 RS1000 or getting a 5050UB Epson for like $1500 less

if you have a pure dark room without lights then the 1000 is a great choice. If you plan on using this in a room with litghts or windows, id say go w the epson. I still have to edit the video, im really low on time this week. i hope to get it done soon

Biggest difference for RS1000 and the RS2000 is the filter on the RS2000 for getting better colors from the DCI-P3 color space and better contrast.

BUT when we get settled into our own home next year I am gonna be looking into going the projection route. Great video HTD.

@@ThatHomeTheaterDude I didn't know that the 295 didn't do the double format. Your Epson 6050 can change aspects right? I just bought a 295 but might return it and wait for an RS2000.

@@ThatHomeTheaterDude look, there are a lot more people doing the same thing as you, but they don't have the long intros as you, which makes their content way better. Your video starts, and 3 minutes into the video, YOU ARE STILL TALKING, damn! I just skip to the next video. That's what 90% of viewers would do. Don't get angry, just avoid too much bs..
