I think the best way for them to handle the skin is to have multiple options to purchase it which could very well be how they handle it. It’s worded “outfit store” They can have a panel for outright cash purchase equating to lunite cost. Then, another panel for the total lunite cost for people who saved up their lunite through repeatable monthly pass purchases or top ups (double included).

I agree that they should just set up their cash shop to be "item you want to buy : dollar price for it" instead of doing the usual hocus pocus made up currency conversion but sadly the usual method works and leads to higher yield that's why a lot of companies do use it. This is exactly how monetization systems work. You add items, that you can buy using special currency, and you add packs of currency. And amount of currency you can buy during one transaction must be slightly more, then you spend for items. So some amount of special currency will left on your account, and you should buy more to spend what you have.

WuWa should set the standard for skins moving forward. Different particl effects, Banner theme, Profile theme, Weapon theme, Special effects, new idle animations and unique voice lines in the skin. Hell maybe even a unique ult animation. I would be more than willing to spend for that. And based on what I saw in the leaks. This has potential. This is what I will say in the surveys too. Yea this game has been absurdly generous since launch, I haven’t topped up once and I have s1r1 jinshi, r1 yinlin, s2 shorekeeer, zhezhi, a bunch standard units and weapons, and I’m sitting on 35k gems rn. Enough to get Carlotta s2r1 if I want, but I might just get s0 and try to get more variety. I already clear the hazard tower easily on just $5 pass. Point is many player since launch still have the top up bonus unless you went for every unit and sequences. I usually try really hard not to top up but Kuro has done such a great job with 2.0 i might reward them with a top up for jinshi skin. I literally don’t even need the gems 😂

Compare this to other gacha games, I think the price is pretty fair. This is much better than every single Genshin skin, plus you can also get weapon skin, sigils, and profile pic. A good skin in Nikke costs you $60, and it is a 2d game.

I think it can be like GFL2, like where you currently raise character affections to get exclusive portrait frames, titles etc. Wuwa can definitely implement something similar except maybe also have dedicated character skins. So players who use specific chars a lot get rewarded in the long run.

With what the skin comes with it’s on par with legendary skins ($15) in league of legends. I’d say max I’d pay for it is $25-$35. That being said, the animations and models on these characters are way more complex including everything else it comes with. Plus if you’re buying monthly thing regularly and saving the lunite it’s essentially pretty damn cheap.

As of now, the only character I'd buy a skin for would be Changli. She's absolutely my main character. Yinlin is also glued to my run around team, but her base look is so good I'd only buy in for an "Oops, I forgot my underwear" costume, and Kuro isn't doing that. This is a quality skin, so I give them props.

Another really nice thing about the weapon Projection is that if you don't have her signature weapon the projection should be able to be applied to any broadsword which is really nice. Doesn't make you feel like moneys getting wasted if you missed the weapon.

How do I unpackaged this. You hit me in the feels with the pulse fire Esreal skin mention! I'm not gonna lie, PGR would make basic and epic skins together. You get what you pay for with them. Now maybe I'm a penny pincher but I felt $35 was a bit pricey, I know we don't see eye to eye there. Trust me when I say this Smack, Kuro cook's with there skin. Like their other game PGR makes majority of its revenue through skins, and with the skin system I assume they are going to have the system that PGR has which, allows the astrite to be used as a currency to buy the skin. In other words you can either use your astrite to get a character or get a skin or just buy it by pullin that card. Anyways because, the gameplay looks has changed, this would be considered as a premuim skin, and sooner or later Kuro will once in awhile give us a free skin like the Sanhua skin for free, which doesn't change the way her gameplay looks but hey a skin is a skin. I cannot wait for Kuro to cook with their skins like they did with PGR. Yes Kuro will give every single 5 star character a premuim skin, which I assume they would also start from now or in the near feature in which, they are going to drop the premuim skins alongside with the new 5 star limited characters. Lastly yes they are most likely going to also have a rerun, just as they do for PGR. So you don't need to feel pressure when you miss out on the skin for your favourite character. My takes : - I consider it a miss that they didn't change the animations, at least the idle ones. - The only thing I'm worried about rn is that if my favs won't get skins because they're not as famous.. I need my PGR gang to let me know. I'm ready to break f2p for a Jiyan skin man - I think it would make sense to make high-quality skins for older characters when they're relevant again in stories and events regardless of the popularity - I believe that every limited character should get a paid skin to get the full value of all the players cause even if a skin didn't bring as much money as another, a lot are ready to pay specifically and only for their favorite characters. - I hope skins are also related to the characters' lore and not just some random stuff like a maid dress or smth lol

Jinhsi's skin price is not too far off from PGR's premium coating price tags. They do not disappoint when it comes to designing their premium skins. Just search for Alpha Crimson Weave's coatings specially her newest one and oh boy. Told you guys the skins gonna prices shit biscuitly high. People should keep their expectation in check. Kuro has always made it clear with how they do their monetization's. They always make the skins real expensive. And it looks like its gonna 3280 lunite which is 50 freedom bucks. I really hope people don't lose their shit over this. But I still think the price is a high. It should have been 30 and discounted to 20 or 15. People should voice their opinion in a constructive way and with their wallet. Please do not hate on it too much.

Personally think it’s an expensive skin but if you’re a low spender you can wilt it down a lot depending on how often you spend your monthly subscription lunite. I personally can buy this skin for 15 dollars for the amount I got saved up. The 5 dollars is used to buy the monthly subscription which I was gonna buy anyway.

It is $42 with discount and $50 with no discount, this does not include the 2x bonus. Very expensive for just a skin in my opinion, especially when you compare the prices/quality to GFL2 skins. Which are $20, and you can buy them straight instead of having to buy gacha currency like Genshin and WuWa.

Can't really compare though Gfl 2 doesn't play the same like WuWa, also your not seeing new special effects on all your attacks, only new ult animation, and some new idles, and new profile picture it better to compare it to something like genshin, it also $21 with discount and 2x top up

@@neptineauras6879 I’m comparing the quality of the skins, which Genshin doesn’t even come close to the level of quality of GFL2, PGR, WuWa, or Hi3. There are some effect changes in GFL2, but like you said, it isn’t every attack, just like 2 skills. And I know Jinhsi has lanterns, flower petals and new pink effects, but I can’t see it being enough to justify the additional $20~$30 when comparing them to GFL2. Maybe new voicelines, completely redone ult animations (like GFL2), and a special skin for Jue the echo could justify spending that much money for a skin. This is all still my opinion, though.

2:47 If you have the 1st time bonus then you can get it for 21 bucks in USD. So i really hope they dont add another panel tbh, cause then itd be extra. You can buy the $15, $5, and $1 as long as you have the 1st time bonus for all 3 then its much better than having 1 panel where you buy it for 35. Hope that made sense, not the best at explaining things 😂
