As a Dodger fan, yes getting Soto would make our roster the greatest of all time but we don’t need him. We need depth in our rotation and bringing back Teo is more practical.

I'm all for your Braves scenario and you know he would extend all 3 of them but the question is How would he pull it off? He would no doubt have gut the farm system Rotation Sale Strider Crochet Lopez Schwellenbach Near unhittable Lineup: Acuna Albies Riley Olson Ozuna Robert Bichette Murphy Harris The Braves 2023 lineup was called one of the greatest of all time and tied the home run record w/ 307 This lineup would blow that into smithereens

Jim Riley, Great show. I am a big Yankees fan and Pete Simonetti from NYY Underground-Yankees channel- had an idea that is possible. Yankees re-sign Juan Soto and get Vlad Guerrero Jr for first base since Yankees need a first baseman. Possible but probably will not happen in getting Vladdy in the Bronx. But if it did happen you would have soto, Judge, Stanton and Vladdy on the Yankees. Pretty lotta firepower wouldn't ya say! I think Alex Bregman may go back to the Astros and Corbin Burnes to the Mets or Dodgers. Just my thoughts!

Mets can’t do both Soto and Burnes because of the QO’s. It would gut their international $ with Peña signing, and their early draft picks would be non-existent. This is why I think they’ll be more active in the trade market for another 1 as well as looking into Snell.

I get the Soto part, but I don't feel like Fried moves the needle much for the Dodgers. I know you like the idea, but I also feel like he'll be injured before October. I think Snell would be the scariest because he's just disgusting with his stuff. And I just can't take Bobby Miller serious with his 8.52 ERA in 2024. I'd put Ben Casparius ahead of Miller at this point. I'm so far off base with Bobby after last season. Also, gotta change Soto's number. There's no way he'll ever be 22 on the Dodgers.
