Great vids bro, you’re good, appreciate it, I wanted to ask your expertise on something. My 15 pathfinder 42,000 miles. Only jerks , pretty hard sometimes only when the ac on , always around 1000-1500 rpms, trying to figure out this issue, cvt fluid changed, got new battery also, I’ve been having some acceleration issues the past year and had to change the maf sensor as I had the code, Iam leaning to a possible belt , pully or alternator issues or maybe even plugs or coils? Even with only 42000? I would appreciate your insight ty

@@jasonfromm5637 hard to say, as there could be many causes, but at 42000 miles, that is weird. First thing, try putting the car in park and rev is, then in neutral and rev it. Does the issue persist? This does not cover the drivetrain, but if the issue is there, you know it is engine related for sure. If the issue is not there when in park or neutral, then it can be engine or transmission. The first thing I would lean on is cleaning the throttle body, as this is a common issue for many cars with fly-by-wire throttle bodies. Sometimes a simple cleaning fixes these issues. I have a video on it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/d3OaZ2qsorN9h6c To me, it sounds like an engine issue and not a transmission issue, since the issue gets worse when the AC is on, and this should have minimal effect on the RPM issue if it were the transmission. It could be any of the other issues you mentioned ,(belt, alternator, plugs or coils) but as you speculated, that would be VERY weird at just 42000 miles. Not impossible, but weird for sure. My car is just over 75000 miles and I did my plugs and belt, and they were way early. ..still had some life left in both. I really did them to make the videos on it to help people out. You can have the alternator eliminated by testing the alternator with a multimeter and seeing if you are getting over 14volts from it, and when the engine is revving, if that doesn't drop. If it doesn't, then the alternator is not the issue. The belt is easier to check then it would seem. Funny enough, I have a video on how to change it, which also shows how to access it to check it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpq1eH2fYq90Z7M Beyond that, there could be many other issues. I would have leaned on the MAF, but you already had that changed. But if you have that changed, I am still definitely thinking the throttle body, as after the MAF, the TB is next in the air delivery system. You can be looking at a vacuum line issue, a fuel system issue, something in the ignition system, or even a bad/seizing pulley, although all these things are less common. As you also mentioned, the transfer case fluid needs to be done, but this should not be causing issues in relation to the AC, so I don't think that is the direct cause. This may seem like a stupid question, but have you checked the air filter? Easily overlooked (if you haven't checked it already) and it is surprising what a dirty/clogged air filter can done. Hope this helps a bit.

I have a 2020 QX60 that will need a new battery soon. I’m pretty sure it takes an H5 battery but noticed yours has a 24F like my Tundra has. Does it really matter?

H5 is what the QX60 calls for. There isn't a lot of difference between the H5 and 24F. The 24F is slightly bigger, heavier, and has more CCA. But if you want to go with OEM ratings, H5 is the way to go

What about when you buy a new battery by the workshop gives you a 35 instead of the 28 and now the brackets don’t want to fit on the qx60

Don't we need to connect other 12v power source to terminals before we disconnect dead battery? in order to keep 12v power supply for chips?

Nope, you do not. Even the Infiniti service manual makes no mention of having to hook up a 12v power source. The ECM retains for a period of time, and then even relearns if disconnected long enough. However, if you want to retain stereo and personal settings, you can always get a 12v source (like an ODBII 12v memory device) to keep the settings

My battery light stays on on my 2017 Infinity QX60, does anyone know how to reset it or at least get rid of it?

You should get the car tested. Normally, if the light is on, there is likely an issue with the charging system (loose drivebelt, alternator may be going). If that light is on, the car is detecting something wrong with the charge system
