One of my favorite songs, played to perfection by the great trumpeter, Ray Anthony! I did not see the movie in 1957, but I certainly did later and even today, I watch it again and understand how it became one of the great love stories of all time. I love the lyrics also...."our love was born with our first embrace, and a page was torn out of time and space:..." (Our Love Affair) " is the original title of this 1957 romantic song which was composed by Harry Warren for the 1957 film "An Affair to Remember." The beautiful lrics were by Leo McCarey and Harold Adamson.

A WONDERFUL BIG BAND SOUND IT REMINDS ME OF 1951 IN OUR LOCAL QUEENS BALLROOM WE HAD ALL THE BIG NAMED BANDS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY THERE IT WAS THE FIRST SPRUNG FLOOR IN BRITAIN ! This is an all-time favorite of mine, the lyrics are just incredible and the music fits, just beautiful! I especially like the phrase: "our love was born with our first embrace, and a page was torn out of time and space," -- You can't get much more meaningful than that!

I love this version the harmonies brought together makes this timeless melody a forever classic, the orchestration and the soloist is just beautiful, it is one of the most beautiful melodies I have ever heard and is a favourite of mine, An Affair to remember will forever will be a timeless movie masterpiece. Thank you for the nostalgia sadly they do not make movies like this anymore, may we FOREVER remember the two Hollywood icons who made this movie magical Mr Cary Grant and Miss Deborah Kerr.
