Their ability to create "epic" songs is unparalleled. And as you said, Simone is stunning. Living in Florida is an issue in seeing these bands. I had to fly to Philly to see Sabaton and Epica last year. We do have a Kamelot concert coming up though!

I got to see Epica with Sabaton last year in Chicago and they both sounded great live. It was my first time seeing either band live and I can definitely say I can't wait until they tour the US again! Although I do get to see Simone again in just over a month for the Ayreon concert...

This song has such a great flow! What a unique masterpiece. I never heard anything like this before I discovered Epica. They are in a league of their own. Btw, many girls have crush on Simone :D

One of their heaviest songs. Written by Mark, it's from the 2016 album The Holographic Principle. About robots that want to kill. AI that's been programmed to fight wars on their own. Yes, you missed EPICA in the USA. They were here last fall, opening for Sabaton. Probably won't be back until next album cycle. Not sure what the plans are for when that album will be. According to their website, they still have concerts scheduled through February in Europe and Central and South America.

This song is from Epica's seventh studio album "The Holographic Principle" . Absolute fire album 🔥🔥🔥. "Universal Death Squad" are about robots who decide they want to kill; that is, artificial intelligence that's programmed to fight in wars without anyone having to push a button. Mark Jansen said in an interview: "There have been many science fiction movies about robots who can think for themselves, but now it’s really happening. If you can put emotions into robots and create sentient artificial intelligence, what’s the difference between a robot and a human? And what if we’re all robots but just don’t know it?" AND, Every time I listen this song , I watch Terminator 2 Judgment Day.... I know, I am weird 🤣. NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut 🤘😎🤘.

Great reaction!!! 🙂 Such a great band!... saw them for the first time last year at their 20th anniversary show and it really blew me away!! If you like these kind of bands @JyngerSlapz maybe I have another one for you: Blackbriar They are also a symphonic metal band (from the Netherlands), but maybe a bit more towards gothic symphonic metal. Their singer Zora Cock has a unique voice that can be really haunting. 😊😊🙂 I recommend the songs; - Deadly Diminuendo - Mortal Remains - Preserved Roses - The Séance - Weakness and Lust And many many more!... 😊😊🙂 Please give them a go, I think you gonna love them as well! 🙂
