The "MOHALLAH" in this song was named "TOOFANI MOHALLAH" as it was mentioned on the yellow signboard where Faris boarded the bus, and this song is nothing short of a "TOOFAN" itself. The buses of KARACHI are surely ART PIECES on their own, I still remember Karachi's famous "W-11" mini-bus on the streets of England years ago, is just memorable. So Naseebo Laal wasn't discovered by Coke Studio. She was known by her stage and TV appearances. Justin Bibis became famous because of their viral video singing Bieber's "Baby", and their subsequent appearance on a morning show. I doubt Xulfi or the team had cause to know which mohalla they were from, because they were already famous. However, there's a high chance that Zeeshan Ali ("scout" 😂) was able to find this current group of ladies (who, btw, popped up in Xulfi's search because they already had a small degree of virality) by reaching out into the local Punjabi singing scene and making that connection with where they lived.

Yes Umair Butt was there in Neray Neray Vas with SOCH THE BAND (CS14) Umair starting with father against, mother supporting his talent and JoJo acknowledging the struggle BUT! at the end of Magical Journey, Faris also acknowledged the same struggle for Gharvi Group that they were ignored by the masses yet they followed their passion; specially in our environment where people seldom appreciate the talent. For me, those words completed the whole circle for this BTS!

I was blown away by this BTS. It happens every time but this one was so special. A testament to the determination of one man and his team to create magic. Meaningful art isn’t very common these days. I think that’s why CS resonates with so many people all over the world. When you create something with a genuine intent, it will resonate with people, it’ll have an impact that’s different from the commercial, more popular music out there. Ps…did you guys know that Faris Shafi also acts, his mother is legendary TV actress Saba Hameed. Faris was in the movie The Legend of Maula Jatt which also starred Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.

That muhala is well known that's why they/scout were able to find them in one day. Usually they show a narrative in bts thats what it is if it makes sense😊. And also they didn't find those artists and gave them a break so it wasn't important to show where they came from. For these artists it was relevant.
