Just now I happened to hear late Babu Paul's speech in Charithram Ennilude. He said he was the Tourism Secretary when the speaker was the Tourism Director. Late Babu Paul has credited the then Minister P S Srinivasan for the revolutionary change in the profile of the tourism sector. He has also mentioned that Mr Balakrishnan again IAS from Kerala who was at one point was posted in US, was responsible for including Kerala in the National Geographic as one of the must see places. Therefore it is the effort of the whole team which contributed to the change in the profile of tourism sector in Kerala and no one person should take credit.

Dr Babu Paul the deceased IAS officer and who was incharge of Kerala Tourism Dept mentioned in one of his articles that Gods own country concept was authored by a Goan writer and Kerala borrowed from him. So Dr Babu Paul clearly said the credit of coining this slogan is for the Goan writer Riberio or Robert I cannot remember his name.

@@user-nk2te2jv9i പ്രബുദ്ധതയ്ക്ക് നമസ്കാരം.... 🙏 പറയുന്നത് മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാനും എന്താണ് മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാനും കഴിയാത്തതാണ് മലയാളി എന്ന പ്രബുദ്ധതയുടെ നഷ്ടം.. കൂടുതൽ പറഞ്ഞ് കമന്റിൽ വഴക്ക് അടിച്ചിട്ട് കാര്യമില്ല ഒരു ഉദാഹരണം പറയാം. താങ്കളുടെ വീട്ടിലെ ഒരാൾ ഒളിച്ചോടി പോയാൽ നമ്മൾ അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അല്ലേ സംസാരിക്കുക?? മറിച്ച് പ്രബുദ്ധതയുള്ള നിങ്ങളൊക്കെ ഒരുപക്ഷേ അമേരിക്കയെ കുറിച്ച് ആയിരിക്കും സംസാരിക്കുക.. കേരളത്തിലെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥൻ കേരളത്തിലെ ടൂറിസത്തെ കുറിച്ച് പറയുമ്പോൾ അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കാതെ മറ്റേതെങ്കിലും പറയണമെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ തലച്ചോറിന്റ IQ ലെവൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പോലെ ആയിരിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.. മിനിമം കേരളത്തിലെ ഇന്നത്തെ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ച് പഠിക്കുക.. എന്നിട്ട് സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിനൊരു അർത്ഥമുണ്ടാകും. അല്ലാതെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ അങ്ങോട്ടുമിങ്ങോട്ടും സംസാരിക്കുന്ന പോലെ വിഡ്ഢിത്തരങ്ങൾ സംസാരിക്കാൻ ഞാനില്ല സോറി🙏🙏🙏1970 ഇതിനു മുന്നേ കേരളം എന്തായിരുന്നു എന്ന് പഠിക്കുക. അതിനുശേഷം ഗൾഫ് സ്വാധീനം മൂലം മാറ്റങ്ങൾ എന്തായി പഠിക്കുക.. ഗൾഫ് സ്വാധീനം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കേരളം എന്തായി തീരുമായിരുന്നു എന്ന് സന്തോഷ് ജോർജ് കുളങ്ങരയുടെ ചോദിക്കുക.. എന്നിട്ട് നമുക്ക് നല്ലൊരു സംവാദം നടത്താം. അപ്പോൾ ലോക ചരിത്രവും ഇന്ത്യൻ ചരിത്രവും കേരള ചരിത്രവും 😃🙏നമുക്ക് സംവദിക്കാം

@@manumohithmohit6525നിങ്ങൾ കേരളത്തെ പുച്ഛത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ എങ്ങിനെ മറുപടി പറയണം ഭരിച്ച് ഭരിച്ച് കേരളത്തെ ഇങ്ങനെയാക്കി എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ ഇതേ ജനാധിപത്യവ്യവസ്ഥിതി നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മറ്റു സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങുമായി താരതമ്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ടിവരും വിദേശരാജ്യത്തെയല്ലല്ലോ താരതമ്യം ചെയ്തത് അതിന് ഒളിച്ചോട്ടവുമായി താരതമ്യം ചെയ്ത തന്റെ പ്രബുദ്ധത മനസ്സിലായി. കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഏകദേശം ചരിത്രമൊക്കെ എനിക്കറിയാം അതിന് സന്തോഷ് ജോർജ്ജ് കുളങ്ങരയോട് ചോദിക്കേണ്ട ആവശ്യമില്ല. ഇവിടന്ന് ആരെങ്കിലും വിദേശത്ത് പോയി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടങ്കിൽ എളുപ്പത്തിൽ പണം ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ തന്നെയാണ്. ആ കാര്യത്തിൽ കേരളീയരുടെ മനസ്റ്റ് ഒന്നാണ് കുറച്ച് ആളുണ്ട് സ്വന്തം നാടിനെ തള്ളി പറയുക ഇവിടെ നന്മകളും ദോഷങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്.

@@user-nk2te2jv9i gud അപ്പോൾ തനിക്ക് കാര്യം കുറച്ച് അറിയാം അല്ലേ😃.. കേരള സംസ്ഥാനം രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്നേ തന്നെ കേരളം വിദ്യാഭ്യാസപരമായ ആരോഗ്യപരമായും മറ്റു സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് വളരെ മുന്നിലായിരുന്നു.. അത് താങ്കൾക്കറിയാമോ. അറിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒന്ന് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും നല്ലത്.. കേരള സംസ്ഥാനം രൂപീകരണത്തിന് ശേഷം, ഇവിടെ വ്യവസായം,കൃഷി ഒക്കെ നശിച്ചതിന്റെ കാരണം എന്താണ്?.. സ്വന്തം കുറ്റങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റു പറയുമ്പോഴാണ് അതൊരു വലിയ മനസ്സ് ആകുന്നത്. അല്ലാതെ രണ്ട് കാലിലും മന്ത്‌ അസഹനീയമായവൻ മറ്റു സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലേക്ക് നോക്കി കുറ്റം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത് പ്രബുദ്ധതയുടെ ലക്ഷണമാണ്. കേരളത്തിൽ വ്യവസായങ്ങൾ ഒന്നും നടപ്പില്ല എന്നും പറഞ്ഞ് മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയ്ക്ക് വ്യവസായങ്ങൾ നിർത്തലാക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുമോ? അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇനി വ്യവസായങ്ങൾ വരണ്ട എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുമോ?? അതുകൊണ്ട് നമുക്ക് നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്തം കണ്ണിലെ വലിയ കരട് എടുക്കാം 😃❤️🙏.. 🤝നിങ്ങളുടെ മാന്യമായ മറുപടിയെ ഞാൻ മാനിക്കുന്നു.. കൂടെ ഒരു തിരുത്തും. കേരളത്തിന്റെ പുറത്തുപോയി പണം സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നവർ പലരും തിരിച്ച് വിക്ക് വരാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നുള്ള യാഥാർത്ഥ്യം കൂടെ തിരിച്ചറിയുക.. ഗൾഫിൽ ഉള്ളവർ തിരിച്ചുപോരുന്നത് ഒന്നുകിൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയം കളിക്കാൻ,, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവിടെ സ്ഥിരമായി നിൽക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണ്.. ഇത് എന്റെ വാക്കുകളല്ല.... സത്യമായ പഠനങ്ങൾ ആണ് 🙏

@@manumohithmohit6525 കേരളം വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിലും ആരോഗ്യ രംഗത്തും അന്ന് മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെക്കാൾ മുൻപിലായിരുന്നു എന്നു പറയുമ്പാ ൾ ഇപ്പോൾ മോശമാണന്നാണോ ? എങ്കിൽ അത് സത്യസന്ധമായ വിലയിരുത്തലായി തോന്നുന്നില്ല. കൃഷിയുടെയും വ്യവസായത്തിന്റേയും സ്ഥിതി അന്നത്തേതിനേക്കാൾ പുറകിലാണ് എന്ന് സമ്മതിക്കുന്നു അതിന് കാരണം ഭൂപരിഷ്ക്കരണവും ജനസാന്ദ്രതയുമാണ് എന്നാണ് എന്റെ നിഗമനം എന്നു കരുതി ഭൂപരിഷ്ക്കരണം തെറ്റായ ഒന്നാണന്ന് കരുതുന്നില്ല. ആളുകൾ വിദേശത്ത് പോയി തിരിച്ച് വരാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തത് ഈ നാട് മോശമായതു കൊണ്ടല്ല അത് അവരുടെ താൽപര്യമാണ് പക്ഷെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം പ്രവാസികളും തിരിച്ച വന്ന് സ്വന്തം മണ്ണിൽ താമസിക്കാനാണ് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നത് എത്ര പണമുണ്ടാക്കിയാലും ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു വന്നത് നമ്മുടെ നാട് അത്ര മോശം ഒന്നുമല്ല എന്ന് തന്നെയാണ്.

Kerala has India's most accountable politicians. In many other states we cannot even openly criticize politicians! But in Kerala almost every news channel has daily satire shows to criticize and mock politicians without fearing any retaliation. Just yesterday a minister in Karnataka publicly slapped a poor woman and he is still a minister. Can you imagine such a thing happening in Kerala??
