i believe he was touching on the fact that we may on the outside seem to be alike, but we all share this common quality of creativity. The rows of people and their blank expressions are, at least to me, meant to show the limitation of public ridicule and burderns that hold us back from following our own path. This IS hip-hop, just the good shit, not what they play on the radio (I.E: Soulja Boy Tell 'Em or Lil Wayne). This is old-school hip-hop with a new twist. This particular song is a bit different from most of his material, but it's still hip-hop. If you're looking for something more relatable by k-os, you may want to try I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman(starts strangely, but gets into a great song) or Man I Used to Be.
