I think the important thing to remember about Dynamite is that it was a song that the boys released during the first year of the pandemic to uplift everyone's spirits. It's happiness and positivity encapsulated in a catchy melody with a good beat. It was the first BTS song I ever heard, and I had it on repeat for weeks. It really changed my black mood from the long months of quarantine around, and that's why I'll always love this song, silly lyrics included 💜

Dynamite's lore is kinda funny to me, because it was released just to be a fun song to cheer people up during the pandemic, but since the fandom was so used to BTS releasing songs with deeper meanings and themes, it caused a fuss and lots of people disliked it at first. There was also a whole discussion about it being a full English song and bla bla bla. Until this day, there's still a resistance in recommending this song for newbies. But we can't deny it's a GREAT song with really fun vibes and it serves its purpose wonderfully. Btw, I hope your cat can have a good recovery and continue to live as healthy as possible. Dynamite was the only song Ivey ever heard in the past in the radio. The radio never played much of their music in the past for a couple of of reasons we suspect; but are starting to to more now sometimes.

Really enjoying your discovery of BTS. They made three English songs during COVID to help bring some light to the world. First Dynamite, then Butter and finally Permission to Dance. After COVID they did a collab with Coldplay called My Universe. All of these songs are a lot of fun but the real magic is in the music they create themselves as a group and individually. RM, the leader is the main writer and he’s a poet. All the members write, produce, work on choreography and video concepts. They also each decide their own styling. It’s something special to have seven individuals who are each incredibly gifted artists, there is no weak link, and yet there is also no ego. They are truly family, they share the spotlight and are genuinely supportive and happy for each others solo successes. All are committed to keeping the BTS family together despite the huge success all of their solo work has had. They are also truly grateful to their fans and go above and beyond to provide content, connection and plenty of surprises. They have many free events as thank you’s to the fans. All of the above is why BTS is so loved and so unique, they are always gracious, grateful, funny and socially conscious artists, basically singing, dancing, UN Speech Giving, charitable unicorns 🦄. There are no others like them, when you are ready watch Spring Day and then Italian Army’s short film about the incredible depth and meaning of this beautiful and very political tribute to the victims of a Korean ferry disaster (most were students) and attempted government cover up. Proceeds were donated and it’s still in the charts 7-8 years after its release. PS. I’m very glad your cat is recovering and doing well. It’s so hard when they are hurting, we feel so helpless. Our two boys, brothers Peek & Boo, both had unexpected and very expensive medical emergencies within a month last November & December. I know what it’s like and although the cost is stressful what you want most is to help them.

I guess it’s his turn, our last baby, Casbah who passed away a month after his 18th birthday (he was never sick until the last month) was my shadow. He loved my husband but was always with me. I still miss him six years later even with lovable goofs like Peek & Boo. We call them the Siamese dogs, they love everyone which is very uncat like and very unusual for Siamese.

They were the first two English songs! But they were almost a year apart, Dynamite was Aug 2020, then BTS released BE (a Korean album) and then Butter was May 2021. You might be thinking of Butter and PTD which were practically back-to-back, PTD was July 2021.

Its really enjoyable watching you listen to these BTS songs. I am only about 6 months into my exploration down the rabbit hole but I have learned so much about them and their songs. There is a documentary called Hope on the Street with Jhope. I cried 3 times watching it. It was so uplifting and touched my heart. He is absolutely a beautiful soul.

So glad the song makes you happy. They made this kind of very pop track to lift people up during the pandemic. Then Butter soon followed. It was different than their regular vibe but they did it so well. It definately helped so many people get through those tough times. They also did an online concert that was watched and paid for by somewhwere around 33 million people all over the world because the pandemic wasnt allowing live concerts. I was lucky enough to be able to go to their very first concert live after the pandemic was over. It was here in Los Angeles and it was epic. Best concert Ive ever been to in my 54 years of life!

It is so nice getting to know you and hearing your positive reactions! I come from a different musical background than pop or k-pop, and was so surprised when BTS popped up on my KZbin one night! I just watched and watched. This song, butter, and permission to dance were pretty easy for them performance-wise with all their experience, and the hardest part was learning the English, especially pronunciation. Everyone here will tell you what to watch, but there are almost 200 videos. Glad to hear you're watching the guide! Taylor Mari's Guide to BTS, and then just one solo from each member so you know their development since 2020. Hii thanxx for your genuine reaction bts has loootttsss of songs and even apart for their amazing songs there's lots of contents like run bts (kind of like a game show) and bts in the soop (like a vacation show) and even lots of behind the scenes of music videos and award shows called bangtan bombs ( but search the subtitles one since some old ones dont have subtitles) These can help you understand them behind their music And of course please react to the guide if you can its long but really insightful can help you recognise like who is who.

There are 3 things you must always remember when reacting to a BTS video. #1- always put your captions #2- never take your eyes away from the screen (even if you’re vibing), cause you might definitely miss something interesting in the video #3- always, always watch the video till the end. Jung Kook is the one who sang on On manifesto high. Also known as JK. RM is the LEADER He and Suga, JHope are the Rap line Jung Kook, V, Jin, Jimin are the vocal line.
