One more point to add, വീടിനു ചുറ്റും ഉള്ള മരത്തിന്റെ കമ്പുകൾ എല്ലാം വെട്ടണം. ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ ട്രസ്സ് ഇട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ അണ്ണൻ, കിളി, എലി പോലെ ഉള്ള ജന്തുക്കൾ വന്നു കൂടു കെട്ടും. I think they missed the scrap value of the truss material. The water proofing does not have any scrap value. So if you add the scrap value with the cost difference which the Architect is talking about, truss work is more beneficial. Additionally, the KSEB bill amount will also be reduced. Also AC will be more efficient than before. I have done truss work for both of my houses.

ഓടിട്ട പഴയ വീടാണ്. പക്ഷെ തടി ഒക്കെ ദ്രവിച്ചു റൂഫ് ചോരുന്നു. വീടിന്റെ തനിമ നിറുത്തി കൊണ്ട് തടി റൂഫ് മാറ്റി ട്രസ് വർക്ക് ചെയ്തു ഇപ്പോൾ കിടക്കുന്ന ഓടോ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒട്ടും തനിമ ചോരാതെ സിറാമിക് ഓടോ മറ്റോ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വീട് പുതുക്കണമെന്നുണ്ട്. പഴയ മതിൽ ആയതിനാൽ തൂണുകൾ താഴെ നിന്ന് തന്നെ കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വരും. എന്തൊക്കെ രീതിയിൽ ഒട്ടും തനിമ പോകാതെ വീട് പുനരുദ്ധരിക്കാം? പലപ്പോഴും പുതിയ മെറ്റീരിയൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ഒരു തരാം കൃതിമത്വം അനുഭവപ്പെടാറുണ്ട്. ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അത് താല്പര്യം ഇല്ല.

It’s height at the centre should be within 2.4 meters and parapet height should be within 1.2 meters anything beyond would be taxable also you should not cover the sides in any way, I have seen people covering sides with grill even that’s not allowed and taxable if done so.
