To be honest, Raesah Khan was just an MP without any appointment. Even if she lied, well, just sacked her and case closed. For TCJ and Iswaran, they are heavy weights from the government. Not only they should uphold higher standards than a normal MP, they should come under more stringent and intense scrutiny for any missteps. Don't you think so?

Such double standard. Aren't she and the other two PAP members of parliament all elected by the people? Not having an appointment does not mean you do not hold a high standard in parliament. Every elected member should be held accountable for any wrongdoings regardless of parties.

That's what the point is about , when raesah khan brought up her fren who was sexually harassed, shanmugan was the first to jump and ask her details for clarification,but now the same happening with pap , they are saying it's a sensitive matter and we should give them time while ,those are the selective standards, I mean it doesn't have to do with anyone being in pap or etc ,

Pritam Singh gave the excuse that he wanted to give her time to disclose to her family first, sighting it was a sensitive matter. Like I said in my reply, regardless of which party line, the elected members of parliament should be held accountable for any wrongdoings expeditiously.

Both ministers should provide the full picture of their property holdings, investments and transactions by disclosing full details of the properties they own in Singapore and abroad, if any, and how much they earn from renting them out. This will confirm the motive(s) for renting the Ridout properties from SLA. Openness and transparency are required from politicians or VTO.
