Arrogance cannot substitute passion. It’s just frustrating how these debates are turning out, with unstable emotional displays by PAP members. I don’t think our forefathers led Singapore with an emotional mind, but rather with a rational and pragmatic approach. A well prepared debater will understand his opponents and have materials ready to counter debate. It is just sad, Koh was reduced to needing to use his phone to read off WP’s website. If you don’t have the time to come prepared, then don’t be an MP. We don’t want to pay for someone who is not fully devoted.

I am sure the MP De Sousa must have realised that the "health" of the Unions is not just a focus on its "heart" alone, a doctor would also looked into its "kidineys", "lungs", "intestines", etc,etc. Surely the doctor MP Koh Poh Koon must have known that when he examined a "heart" patient, he would also looked into other "organs" to have a fuller idea of the patient's "health". So if the doctor says "I now turned my focus on your "lungs" "legs" " body", that is totally "relevant" as the "health" of the Union representing workers is not just a focus on its "heart" alone. Both PAP MPs De Sousa and Dr Koh are surely in agreement with this analogy. They must be "fair" to the WP and PSP MPs.

we have given ntuc a nickname 'Pirates of the Carribean'. everything is much more expensive in ntuc despite it supposed to be 'helping' people. Example: next time try buy its mangosteen, wrap up in plastic so that you can't choose, there are about 6 to 7 mangosteen in one packet, when u had brought it home, at least 3 of them were hardened into stone. and its price is much more expensive compare to other groceries like Sheng siong where you could choose and pick.
