Neither did Holly Dunn or Lari White. I loved both of them so much. Holly was basically Blacklisted by Nashville and Country Radio after 1991. I really don't know what happened with KT. Lari should have been one of the biggest Stars of the 90's. All three so immensely talented. Three amazing voices and song writers.

Yes! I feel the same sentiment as everyone else here! I was a young boy ( this is my girlfriend's account 😆) ahem!! .. anyway I was a young boy in the 80s and the songs of K T Oslin, Alabama, Ronnie Millsap, John Anderson, The Judds and you know...all the GOOD country were always on my mom and dad's radio and on CMT. Now I get sentimental when I hear these songs. Sometimes a song I haven't heard in years will creep into my mind and I'll have to look it up

She has such a sincere, smooth and clear voice. Her singing is never forced or pretentious. This is when country radio played one great song after another. Today you hear 15 pop rap country before you hear one decent country song.

My mother was going through a divorce during the height of KT's success in the 80's. She loved KT Oslin. I adored my mother, she was sassy and beautiful. She was also a borderline fool (a fact that my dad did not appreciate). Anyhoo, I would watch her do her makeup and get ready for another date (they were all lawyers-my dad was one- think she wanted to make him jealous. She was a girl of the 50's and wanted the fairytale. She got her college degree- Go Dawgs!! She married an attorney who could provide financially, they had 3 kids, joined the Junior League, even had a maid. She felt she had everything she ever wanted. Then boom. Dad left her first his paralegal. Dad and his second wife are still married to this day. Point of all of this is KT was really in tune with how ladies of a certain age were feeling. She sang for them and I am grateful for it. She helped my mother make it through the most difficult period in her life. And helped her become a lady whom was okay with not being in a relationship. She never remarried (she always told me that she married for life😢). Hearing these songs reminds me of that time period. I was coming of age so I had the same ideals as my mom. Kt's songs were an inspiration for both of us...my mom to get through her divorce without losing her grace. And, KT seemed put together in her videos. I always wanted to be a Sugarbaker sister..lolol...a perfect Southern Belle. Thanks for listening, mama died at 56. Life was too hard for her. She never got past her family dissolution. But, during those times, the house was filled with KT's voice and common sense lyrics. RIP to my two 80's ladies!

I just heard that K.T. died this morning. It's sent me way down memory lane to the late 80's and how I loved all of her songs. I'll Always Come Back was always my favorite of her songs. She was a true bad ass lady who said it like it was, didn't take any shit, and had sass to spare. Thanks K.T.

SUPERB songwriter-as her Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame membership helps attest, but her whole package was just as good: soulful, wistful voice that could whisper or wail, and her personality, her showmanship. A rare talent that blazed when her time came. RIP, K.T. You are not forgotten, by any means. ❤️

Just heard the news and my heart breaks. One of the most powerful voices ever in country music. Today's listeners have zero idea of what talent was. KT will never be replaced or imitated. She was/is in a class all to her own. Rest easy, ma'am.

When each of my sons gradurated from High School, I gave both of them a copy of this song on a 45. I placed it in their Book of Life that I made for each of them...birth to 18. They both in their 50s now.
