This is very very Very very and Very much important news. We are now liable to pay 13Lakhs rupees for 3 empty containers as a Demmurage (late fee) to Shipping Line company. After that only we can offloaded empty container at empty container yard. Also day by day trailer haltings expenses also adding, say 2000 per trailer truck per day. Total transportation industry is suffering due to this Demmurage issue. We will surely put this on manufacturers head. Manufacturers will surely put this to Distributor to whole seller to end user's head to bear the costs. Govt. Must Atleast order Liner Company's to Write off Demurrage charges to avoid very huge economical disaster.

Suggest to the TN govt to allow the container activities even in the morning so that it will help to save the container rent and speed up their business activity.We should allow it today itself.Moreover ,the container(s) are in the bare sun, so there is no quarantine required.

@@rosepearl999 bro It's a Global Business, so they deal in Dollars(since it's the FIAT currency) and the value fluctuates daily but then each company as per agreement has a cut off date maybe once a month or week they calculate this currency fluctuations make changes in the price..They are saying it in Dollars because everyone deals in Dollars as simple as that
