You said eligible items. Are those just more expensive items like Arsenal rifles, or could I put a Zastava on layaway? How about a Bersa?

Its very important that the message is going out clearly to all customers. The Layaway program applies to ALL products. You can purchase Zastava, Bersa, Century - Whatever we have in stock

@@kvarcorp I like the idea but the pawn shops are FFL’s too and have layaway programs that can give you up to a year after submitting a payment depending on the overall price. Which may be better for some out there because there’s always a competitive company for the public. Local shops provide additional incentives by giving customers (veterans, military, LEO discounts). Other local FFL shops do offer incentives when you buy locally such ammo discounts, a discount on mags, or free mag too. When buying a new firearm.

I dunno. Kinda seems to me that if you have to put a firearm on layaway to afford it, you might be well-served to ask yourself “Is this an actual NEED, or is it more of a WANT?” If you own no other useable pistol or rifle, and the purchase is therefore an actual “need”, then knock yourself out with layaway. But I suspect most purchases are not from first-time gun owners and most likely fall into the category of “wants”. And in that case, maybe save up and buy it when you easily have the cash rather than adding more debt to your life? I know…crazy idea, right?? I like K-Var. I’ve bought many firearms from them over the years. But while they’re trying to sell their layaway plan as “We’re doing this for YOU!”, I suspect they’re actually doing it because their inventory isn’t moving as fast as it used to. (Frankly, an increasing number of consumers are tapped-out and already have too many bills as it is.) It’s pretty rewarding just saving up for things we want. And for me, half the time when I do that and finally have the money, I all of the sudden decide “Meh, I don’t think I want it bad enough to now blow all the money I just took several months to save.”
