I'm sure alot of Siaga and Veprs unconverted have been stockpiled. I think when they look back at AK imports Siaga and Vepr imports will be some of the best. It's a nightmare to rivet in the bullet guide over a drill and tap but it can be done. I have some scooters (now it's just 7.62x39 , 5.56 mostly as I have more accurate rifles to shoot 54r and .308 out of and while I have alot of 7N6 I don't want to waste it) Used to be under 400 dollars and the verps came in with square backs but a full Vepr front conversion is a nightmare. I'm sure full conversions for both saiaga and Veprs will get close to 10k by 2030 if the situation does not improve.

FYI this does not take 104 cleaning rods due to the latch/ stock holder spring. You can order the 3 piece RPK from kvar P/N RPK-003B and use one.

My SAM7C came with a 500 meter sight. I’m slightly disappointed to find out that my SAM7C is just a SAM7K reconfigured at the custom shop and not a Bulgarian import pistol. I jumped on it without doing much research, but I’m glad I got it anyway. I added a folding brace and it’s a really cool and unique gun.

To be honest there pricing isn’t to bad really, I mean, we can bitch and moanabout kvar‘s shenanigans over the years but at the end of the day name one AK importer or source that has provided the US market with the variety of quality AK’s like kvar has for over 20 years! And we can’t forget all of the accessories like magazines and parts kits that they have provided to market. Yes I cringe every time I receive a rifle from kvar in a box that’s barely tougher than a few sheets of Kleenex, but I have to consider overhead costs gripes vs having the opportunity to even purchases an Arsenal rifle which I believe is still top tier. I’m liquidating some silver and thinning my knife collection for a few in the Arsenal lineup rite now, I’m really digging the SAM5 offerings too and hope to see it in a CR version as well. What’s your thoughts on the Sam7ufk? I love my UF’s just as much as my SF’s

I have a SAM5 and Sam7k and neither gun is worth close to 2k. The Beryl is a better rifle than the SAM5 and costs for way less. I’d rather go parts kit route vs ever paying 2k for a basic milled ak rifle to be honest. I don’t see the value of them but also I have many AKs from other countries that I prefer over Arsenal

I’m sure this is a fine AKM .. I may own a couple or dozens of them - the prices have reached heights I’m unwilling to spend - my most expensive is the IWI Galil - that was somewhere around $1600 - but the rest of actual AKM’s were all under $1000 .. some as low as $300 .. it has wrecked me for these prices today

I’m glad someone brought up the gunshot sound being annoying or distracting, I turn the audio up to hear your voice, then it goes to a clip of you shooting and it’s extremely loud. It’s especially awkward in public, I like the sound but maybe some editing so it’s not so extremely loud

Unfortunately, jokes aside, there's really no way for me to do that kind of editing. Video programs really aren't designed with TTS programs inmind. I do what I can but it is limited. These days, its me doing everything alone, so you kind of get what you get.

I still regret not getting an arsenal sam7, arsenal tried talking me out of ordering centurys V1 milled AK, I ordered it anyways and it’s still good but the improper heat treatment always bothered me, luckily the problems were mainly with the RAS47s but the V1 with the blonde furniture is still going strong, what’s your opinion on cast parts in AKs? Luckily I got the milled but still lol

Cast can be just fine, if that is the QC is up to snuff. Thing is about those Century receivers, they are a milled-cast hybridge. Ever wonder why/how they were so inexpensive compared with other milled AKs? They start off with a receiver block that was cast, not a solid block of steel like say a Polytech or Arsenal. After casting it in the rough shape of a receiver, then they machine (mill) it into its final shape. So yeah milling happens but its not a hot dye hammer forged type like the Arsenal.

Arsenal and Kvar should really focus on importing Ammo instead of "Custom" AKs with a price tag over 2K. The AK market is going to shrivel and die if someone doesnt open up a new line of ammo that is sustainable and relatively affordable.

Love this configuration, but if this is considered a "custom" shop , I'm out. I just dont want to pay stupid inflated prices for another AK that does the same thing as all the others. Unfortunately, its kind of required for a milled receiver to ahve the internal button & latch. Even the Galil has a version, though its more part of the stock itself vs the receiver.
