Just wanted to point out what a great product. And in your learning literature online regarding PH. It states that anything below 7 is classed as basic but the opposite is true. Below 7 is acidic and above 7 which is alkaline is known as basic. Incase anyone wants to edit the literature

I own k18 and i have thick volume of hair and i bleached my whole head and dyed it medium dark red and half of my head is peekaboo layer hair from last year but it has grown out a bit and its really dry like hay and easily break off if i pull the hair when it’s wet. My hair is layered cut and is around chest length. I would say that i would need around a flat tablespoon amount for my whole head considering especially the peekaboo part of my hair are really fried since i bleached it myself back then and i over processed it. I would say probable a levelled tablespoon could even still be too much. Just work it in the hair and keep slowly combing it through your hair and you will actually use less than you think. I wish i can show proof of the results. But i do think hair dryer or drying technique also affects your hair. Cheap hair dryer = very hot uneven heat air and frizzier dryer hair I’m using dyson airwrap rn and the hair dryer is really worth it. I can actually do good just without k18 cuz dyson really helps to not make my hair more damaged, but since my mom already got it for me so i just used it. Buying Olaplex no 3 too and will be seeing how the effect will be in the long run. (Olaplex work to fix hair bonds and k18 work to fix outer layer oh hair using the peptides) so it’s actually quite different imo.😮

Actually - K18 reconnects the polypeptide chains deep within the cortex of the hair. These are what gives the hair strength and elasticity. It works much deeper than a conditioner or bond builder to repair the hair from the inside out

as level tablespoon is an insane amount. even if your hair is more damaged, that doesnt mean you need to 50-60x the amount of product. also I have a dyson and it definitely still damages your hair, just less than traditional hairdryers. you would benefit from watching abbey young, you seem to have a lot of misconceptions about hair which are going to damage it further.

This product is tricky. It needs to be done a certain way or it won’t be as effective and soft. it was weird it worked when i did condition and used it as a leave in conditioner. also feel it was easier to penetrate if hair was untangled🤔

Sometimes there can be a bit of a learning curve when starting to use K18. These are 2 helpful hints that should give you your best results possible. First, you may need to clarify the hair before your first treatment to make sure there is no buildup on the surface preventing our peptide from reaching the cortex. Next, make sure you are not using too much product. Most people will only need 1-2 pumps, since the peptide works in the cortex whatever is not absorbed can just sit on the surface and you may be able to feel it on the hair. Use these tips and you should love your experience with K18 ❤

You get the best results from leaving it in after the 4 minutes. If you use conditioner then you'll have to wash it out, try using a leave-in conditioner instead after the 4 minutes have passed.

The K18 shampoo and conditioner are probably ideal to use with it since they contain the same ingredient and will further contribute, but you can use anything. I use a J.R. Liggett shampoo bar because it doesn't strip the natural oils from my hair.

I do use k18 after shampooing my hair and I skip conditioner, but afterwards I still need extra moisture. I was wondering if I can wash my hair again after 4 minutes and put my regular conditioner as well as another leave in conditioner specifically for curly hair that I normally use? They already say that you can use another product afterwards. So why not just add a good leave-in mask like sth. from Kerastase or a serum, or oil afterwards, instead of washing the hair again? I wouldn't wash this product out, especially since they say it is a leave-in. PS. I used the K18 system for the first time today, my hair is straight and chin length, but I felt like I had to use much more than 3 pumps, but that's just me.

I split my hair in the back and after putting dime-sized pump in one hand, I rub my palms together, then I lean over so one-half of my hair is hanging down. Then I gently rub my hair between by hands going up and down. Then I flip to the other side with another dime-sized pump. Then, I gently brush my damp, treated hair and it is fully distributed. It works and is so worthwhile! I have curly-ish hair that is comes to the top of my breasts so it isn't short in any way.

I have never dyed my hair and rarely use heat (the maximum is 4 -5 times a year). However, I have a lot of breakage and split ends around the crown of my head. But I was wondering: I usually rinse my hair with Luke warm water after shampooing and then end the shower with rinsing my hair with ice cold water, to kinda close my hair follicles. I do that too, warm water to rinse shampoo, & cold water to rinse conditioner. Since you won't be applying conditioner with K18 I wouldn't end the shower with cold water. Because if the hair cuticles are open, any treatment applied will be better absorbed. K18 itself will close/seal your cuticles because of the acidic pH, so no need to worry about that.

I deep conditioned my hair then used it as a leave in and blowdried my hair. Washing it out seems like such a waste. My hair felt great. I even love the shampoo, even just using that there was a change to my hair. Combing Afro hair without conditioner seems like a big no no for me, but I’ll try it and see if there’s a difference.

You forgot to say that you really need to emulsify in your hands until it looks like sunscreen. Then it increases in amount or so it seems and it is easier to go through your hair. Your own people have said this on other videos. This video is confusing because if you leave it as two dots in your hand it’s not gonna work well.

@@daphnedruga1136 yes and I sent photos to k-18 and the store and both ignored me. It’s possible to have allergic reactions, and it’s also possible it was damaged product. Either way, disgusting customer “service”.

you don't! our formula is very concentrated and less is always more with K18. at maximum, you'll need 3 pumps. to help with product application and distribution you can rub the product in your palms first and then apply. let us know if you try this tip!

The first go around I was not getting good results either (my hair became even more strawlike because I had cut out all other products to try K18). I spent a lot of money on it and that bothered me. A few months later, I watched a video by Jack Martin and I tried applying it the way he did it and viola! It worked wonderfully! It truly does depend on how you apply the product.

I was wondering if I can wash my hair again after 4 minutes and put my regular conditioner as well as another leave in conditioner specifically for curly hair that I normally use? Thank you for your time! This is the only way my curls can feet soft, considering they went through a very aggressive bleach session and are dyed 😂

After you applied the K18 mask and wait the 4 minutes you can re-wet your hair, add conditioner, and rinse out. Re-wetting or rinsing your hair after the 4 minutes will not remove the k18 peptide 🙌

I don't think that's a good idea. After k18 use a leave in conditioner.
