Good find. I had the same oil leak issue. Couldn’t find it and thought it was the Vtec solenoid gasket. Thanks oil cooler hose.

nice 👍 doing this right now. Did you add Honda bond or gasket maker?

I don’t think my k20a3 NA has an oil cooler, I have replaced the gasket filter and the 2 o rings on the vtec I’m still leaking from the area.???

Young GearHeads seems like you're having the same problem I am. Been looking for months trying to figure out what's wrong with that area. Do you have oil leaking onto you belt as well?

So we ended up replacing the whole vtec unit and boom! No more leaks, I guess there was an internal leak on the unit all the new rubber didn’t help. Just get the new vtec unit and be done with it. 🙌🏻

Replaced the gasket and both O rings on the vtec unit and still had leaks.

how did you replace the gasket I'm having the same problem?

You just need to disassemble the oil cooler. First take the filter off then two rubber hoses (drain the coolant from radiator first) then there will be a bolt holding oil coolant inside of it. After you take it off you will get to the gasket. Part number is 91316-PE7-730 for K20a2

No turbo on ours so no oil cooler. Replace the whole vtec assembly with a new unit.
