The k20 is just better tbh because it revs to the moon. But the k24 really fixed the issues with Hondas not being torquey enough

@@__GMA__ I have the k20A euro r in side of a EK hatch. That motor is INSANE way different from USDM. Cams are different, it has oil squirrels, and apparently the intake and exhaust ports are ported from factory

All dc5s came with k20s of some variant, a very common swap though is a tsx/accord euro k24a2/3 with the k20 head and oil pump for better flow and rpm

K24a2 came in the 04-08 Tsx which is a detuned type r engine and the other Tsx engines were the less sought after k24s

i picked up my 2nd type S for 1k. runs & drives but has tan interior & needs an input shaft bearing. Oh! And it has a replaced fender, with pealing paint. BUT IT WAS 1k lol

@@alitoroganan2442 Only about 500 more pounds of curb weight and with your argument your “400cc” aka .4 more liters of fuel injection should make up for that. It also comes down to driver at the end of the day but that TSX was automatic as well and im a 6 speed. Now I have been spanked by a Type S TL with the 3.5 but he built his head and valve train and other stuffs. In the canyons I ran it with a Ej civic k24a2 frankenstein and I pulled on bro, no lie but he needs his car tuned though, we’re gonna run it again after in jan once it warms up

If you run a k20 head on the 24 it will be faster. It has more displacement if its setup properly it will have more power and especially more tq and it'll make power at lower rpms.

K24 is faster more powerful but put it in the tsx and up against a k20 rsx then the rsx will prob win bc it'll be lighter than a Tsx but Tsx will have more power and potential
