Great info! Thank you. I've been trying to get my 1989 CRX running. I'm at the wiring point. I installed a K24A2 from a TSX (2004 I think)and it has a 6 speed LSD from a 2006 SI. I purchased KPro Hondata bluetooth but the engine has no harness. I have a cable throttle body with a Karcepts adapter. Not sure what harness I'll need, engine/jumper harness? I was thinking CJ Wiring unless there's cheaper, lol...?

Hey boss, I have a ek with a k24a2 and a k20z3 transmission. I was using a stock accord shifter box and shifter cables. I had the shifter mounted in the tunnel and the cables were a little too long and shifted fine, now I just installed and ktuned accord/k20z3 shifter and this time I mounted it in the car, now my problem is my cables are a little way too long, now my question is are the 06-11 civic si shifter cables shorter than the 05 accord shifter cables?

I have a 2006 Honda Accord with a K24a8.. it's an automatic and I would like to convert it over to 5-speed and possibly a K24a2 tsx engine... I would like to know what what I need to make the swap a reality? What transmission should I get? Can I use my Accord ECU for ktuner if not what are my ECU options? Hey! I have a k20a3 engine from an RSX base and a 03-07 accord 5 speed transmission. Can I use an automatic RSX engine harness for this swap? This powertrain combo is going into a 2001 civic coupe. Thanks for the help in advance.

I was told if you’re running a PPA auto ECU with Kpro, you will have the same problem. Speed on the dash but not on the ECU because it doesn’t support it. In turn, your 2 speed can’t be set up.

Thank you! I do have a question, we have a k20A3 swap in a circle track stock car. It's our first kswap. We got everything running, problem is the speedo and rpms are not working on gauge cluster. Any thoughts on what I'm missing? It's my first time with these motors, and I read vtec would not work if it didn't read a speed above 0? Any help would be awesome...these are great videos!

What gauge cluster are you using? As for VTEC, the ECU get's it speed signal from the VSS on the engine. Evern if the gauge cluster ins't working it is probably getting a speed signal. Are you using Hondata of KTuner for engine management?

@@VTECAcademy it is all from the same car (we were told) 2003 acura rsx base, not type s. So the motor, harness and cluster should all be from the same car. Right now we don't have hondata or kpro, nor do we know anyone who has it. Is that ecu capable of going into it for tuning? Thanks for any info!

Brian you forgot to say that you'll have to weld back on the frame rail bracket for b series.

And luckily Hasport makes a weld on frame rail bracket. I should make a bolt on one too.

What kind of oil PSI would you expect out of a b18c1 stock pump at idle with a turbo. Is 10 psi too low?

10 Psi is probably too low

That's a bit on the low side. Typically people are around 15-25 PSI at idle.

@@BrianGillespie_brianathasport I’m getting 80 cold and the factory 50 psi at 3k rpm’s. Idle is also very low at maybe 500rpm When warm. car is also turbo so you think that the turbo could be causing that to be low? Both lines come off sandwich plate.

hi.. my EG k20.. have trouble engine when Vss is on.. when i desable Vss all is ok.. but the reverse lock si ON all time... i cant pass rear gear... i must swith off engine... i m lost..!! y have lot of knock too.. between 1500rpm and 2500rpm... you can help me ? k20z head k20a bottom 12.5cr manley piston skunk2 pro2 cam dc5 gear box kpro v4 410cc rdx skunk2 pro séries inkate maniflod and throttle
