K20A2 OEM Engine Wiring Harness on K24A2 swap w/ K24Z7 Transmission

This video I explain how I ran and routed my K20A2 (2002 - 2004 Acura RSX) Engine Harness on my DC2 with 2004 Acura TSX Motor with 2012 - 2015 Honda Civic SI Transmission.
1) 6 pin plug with 5 wires that plug into charge harness.
2) Crank angle sensor, needs repin to match k24 crank angle sensor, needs k24 crank angle sensor plug.
3) Speed sensor cable needs extension, repin to match high frequency signal sensor CSS, needs k24 speed sensor plug. Then a speed converter box is used to convert the High Frequency Signal - (CSS) to Low Frequency Signal -(VSS) on K-Series Transmission.

I did a base tune with the TSX engine that I have. I just list the mods I have on the tune. I did not make a video on it but I could if there more requests on it.

hey bro have you looked into vtec academy's wire for the css. Im on the same problem as you are in I believe i hooked up my speed sensor wrong and blew the 15 amp ecu fuse so now my css is unplugged until i switch the power and ground around i think that was my mistake. Im so confused on this css speed sensor. also have a ebay engine wire harness so its not even close to factory colors so to make it even more difficult. but let me know what you think about vtec academy's video on the css vss and switching wirers around on the c101 plug.

Yes, I have come across that issue. I've called Hasport to see if I did it correctly according to their video. It does not work, so I reached out to Hondata and they told me it will not work switching the c101 plug. Hondata says there is no speed output from the B plug. Right now I do have the speedometer and ecu reading the speed working with the Dakota Digital Speed Convertor Box. It works but sometimes the signal is slow to reach the ecu and the gauge cluster. I'm working with a tech at Dakota Digital getting it to work correctly. He believes the signal since it split into wires signal gets lagged. I haven't gotten to it yet but I will have a video on how I got my speedometer to work along with ecu reading the speed signal. BTW the Hondata tech says we need a convertor box for this work.

Make sure you repin the speed sensor as I did in the video if you have a 05-06 rsx transmission, 06-15 civic si transmission. Top view of the plug with release button starting from left. 1) Black/Yellow (power source) 2) White/Green (signal) 3) Black (Ground) Again a Speed Convertor is necessary for your speedometer gauge to work properly and ecu to read the vss signal.

@@jsrebuilds3951 so i did the conversion to try to test it and your right. It dont work at all like vtec said it would. So now im at the stand still. So i will be getting the dakota digital box. I seen another video of a guy using it and using diodes to make his work. Seems like it works from the video but i dont understand how he means make a split and go from the css to box to diode to ecu. Then from the split css to diode to gauge cluster. at this point im down to try anything. If i would of know this i would of just saved to get a 02 type s trans. lol. but me living in the middle of nowhere wisconsin honda parts are hard to come by. cant wait for a video from you to shine some light on this.

@@timothy2182 I just talked to TJ at Dakota Digital today. He is working with me to get this box working right in my Integra. The box is currently hooked up and does work but there's a delay of getting the signal to the ecu and speedometer gauge. I have the signal going from output 5 right now. The tech at Dakota Digital is helping me figure out how to get more voltage signal from the speed sensor. They believe since the k swap needs 2 signals, 1 to ecu and 1 to speedometer gauge that the signal gets weak. I hope to resolve this soon and get this video out to you guys.

Also yeah im at a stand still until i get the box in the car and stop throwing the vss code. more and more research everday. wish honda tech was still big cuz would have this done by now. lol. but man your a huge help. The transmission fits fine. The difference is the rear engine mount bracket bolts in different. Also the speed sensor is 05+.
