If memory serves, the KA-50 laser only has a theoretical max range of 9.9km (Shkval laser detection range is not documented, but should only be limited to Shkval's current optical performance - weather dependant). So an example of a buddy-lase would be to fully utilise the KH-25's maximum (14 km) range by having your 'buddy' say 4km closer to the target, so his laser is within said 9.9 km range tolerance.

Kh 25 is a thicc boi. I've used them in my Su-25 to take out hardened ammo bunkers at airfields and small bridges. They are very, very good fun to use, and unless you're stuck with the 25A are a total waste on most mobile vehicles. Whatever, no kill like overkill :D

Hello, how can I check the aiming position of the wingman "Shkval" in "abros", or the position where the wingman is aiming? There is an introduction in this regard on page 33 of the manual! But I didn't find it in the game!“Indicating the position of wingmen using data link as well as targeting line of sight vector from the “Shkval” targeting system”

yeh the smoke from missile shuts engine down if your not moving forward while firing

Can you buddy lase with Vikhrs too or is it just the KH-25s?

Late to the party but the Vikhr is a beam riding missile. It has a sensor in the back that tracks the laser so it doesn’t see what is in front whatsoever, meaning that you cant buddy lase with it.
