I like that Ka is not relying on the beats to carry the album, but instead relying on his word and pen game. Myke said it best, to appreciate Ka for the first time you have to sit down and read the lyrics as you're listening to the album. Ka is without a doubt a poet much in the same way Saul Williams and 2Pac are.

Gu Wop You're underestimating his fanbase... He's been making music for 20 years and the fact he's worked with GZA & Roc Marciano alone should make his music easy enough to access provided you're actually looking for unknown hip hop compared to what's popular.

This is dope, I'v been a heavy KA fan for years, I been waiting on y'all to review some of his shit. His work is very minimal, all his projects to me are good. Its either you fuck with his low voice, hazy delivery and production style all the way, or not at all. One thing you cant argue, very few artist give the streets the literary treatment that he does. Dudes pen game is serious. He keeps his sword sharp at all times.
