i like seeing opening hands and guessing whos going to pull ahead. if i had to pick to keep the opening hands or not maybe split the middle and show them off as you name the commanders but dont tell us the cards so if we want to we can pause and check them out. this way we get to the match faster but still have the hands for people that care

I enjoyed the games, If you're trying things our with regard to viewer information, I'd love to see a game or two where Tutor targets were disclosed to the viewers. I'm always curious what folks are prioritizing while tutoring and it isnt always clear.

I think the point is that we have the same info as the table has, so if it's an enlightened or worldly tutor or whatever where it's revealed they show it, but if it's a vamp or demonic tutor they don't because the table also doesn't know

I like the opening hands and really like the wrinkle suggested by Ari Kohrn to show Tutor targets to viewers. Thoracle and Breach don't bother me as they are mostly just the means to an end, it's how each deck gets to the finish that intrigues and interests my CEDH thing.

@@koreyg8552 It's just insane how many wins you can steal with it. Dockside is obviously top since it both enables wins but also helps other strategies while just fixing anyones mana pool but Breach just be winning out of nowhere and it can be doubly used just as a grind piece.

I'm one of the people that always skips through opening hands! Ergo I like the change. I do also skip through the commander introductions, though, and so this isn't a huge qol change for me specifically. I'd like to second the person who suggested showing the opening hands while introducing the commanders, allowing people to pause and have a look. If you're willing to put in the effort (I have to imagine that getting the opening hand information and animating it is by no means trivial) then it otherwise has 0 cost to the viewer to put it in. EDIT: I really dislike the Dockside effect. I'm really not looking for these videos to be glamorous in the Game Knights sense, I much prefer just seeing what happens in the game (& your voice is very relaxing). Consider this one vote against.

Cedh has been really boring to me recently, this is kind of a rant and I don’t mean to just complain but I want others thoughts; I’ve been playing cEDH for 3 years now and in the last year it seems like every deck is almost the same. Maybe I’m just tired of seeing Thoracle/consultation, underworld breach/brain freeze, dockside loops, and a few other combos. I don’t know if everyone is feeling this, but it’s just getting to a repetitive point that’a boring to me. I don’t know if I want them to ban a few cards, or maybe unban a few cards to add more variety.

Ryan, you should stop saying "fizzle" when "can't be countered" effects such as Veil of Summer are involved. "Fizzle" implies the spell fails to resolve, when in fact it does, just fails to counter the spell (Veil of Summer does not give spells hexproof, it just prevents them from being countered). This is very important for counterspells that have additional effects, such as Swansong, Mana Drain and Pact of Negation, because their controllers will get their other effects even if the targeted spell can't be countered.
