Great observation on the lanyard, you are absolutely right. On long blades it's no longer a safety feature.

Murdered out? First time I've heard that. Subscribed! And I'm on the fence on knife lanyards. I'd rather have the knife fall away from my hands than have it dangle and twirl around my hand and arm after a hard hit n miss! I'm paranoid about that too... Good video!

Have the bk2 and the bk9 The bk9 I have stripped the blade and added g10 scales from the knife connection. If I could go back. I would have gotten the bk7 rather than the 9.

I would agree with you there. If I could only have one between those two, I’d definitely go with the BK7. It’s just more versatile and its size is generally easier to use for anyone not familiar with larger fixed blade knives.
