Ole school Ice Cube. Yeah Cube was one of the originals, a pioneer who brought the gritty inner city vibe to his music. A lot of rappers came along and tried to fake the authenticity that Cube had!! It didn't work and to this day, this man is widely respected and admired for the realness and legitimacy of his music. Great tribute to a legend Kabir⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

It's actually November 30, 1988. By the time 1/20/92 came around, Kim was 8-9 months pregnant w/O'Shea Jr. Plus, they were three months away from getting married. So on that day, he wasn't: 1)Living with his momma; 2)Fucking a very pregnant Kim while having alcohol and weed around; or 3)Fucking around on her when they were a month a way from having their first kid and three months away from getting married.

@@kabirconsiders My mouth! They go back to the 50's! A staple of R&B.. They even preceded Earth, Wind, & Fire. They had a Verzus battle (not sure of you all get them over there). Soooo many hits! My parents raised us with them. Ever heard of Mr. Bigs that sung with Prisoner R. Kelly? He's the lead singer.

@@Kim-427 maybe because I follow the Kabs fam. They're all into old school. And an American YT living over is always going to stuff with her friends families & their parties sound like my parents parties. But hell, younger Black Americans probably don't know this stuff. That's just bad upbringing. (I kid... maybe). My dad didn't listen to a lot of rap, but if he heard it or heard me play it, sometimes he'd school me on the sample if I didn't know.
@Kim-4273 жыл бұрын
@@msbrandymo I hear that! I’m what people call an Anglophile. Lol I enjoy British tv, movies and culture. Not as much as I use to be but unlike many Americans I know much more about across the pond than most. LolThat ignorance thing is funny because as much as they think they know about us over there it’s ALOT that they don’t have all the facts to which leads to much misunderstanding about how things really are over here. But,I school my family and friends about different things. I’m an old head so I grew up with the Isley Brothers. I remember when my oldest son started listening to Hip Hop he would argue with me over songs being new and I would tell them that the sampling of a particular beat came from an original song. He didn’t believe me at first because of course parents don’t know anything. Lol Eventually,He got it. And we would laugh about it years later.

Most commonly a triple double is 10 points 10 rebounds and 10 assists but it could also include 10 steals or blocks you just need to have double digits in any of the 5 stat category’s
@ryanleaf3863 жыл бұрын
*So just double digits in 3/5

I think the first album of his I got was Death Certificate. IIRC it came out before this song. Much of his music was about the broader ills of society, same was true for Public Enemy, and Ice-T. Anti police lyrics were not uncommon but they were about said police abusing their power without consequences. Rodney King would be a good example from that era, he was beaten by 4 cops on video. Those cops were acquitted despite the camcorder video. TV's still had CRTs, Camcorders were a thing, VCRs were commonplace, beepers were a thing, & so were pay phones.
