KaBlam! has never left my memories, honestly. It was one of my favorite cartoons growing up! Action League Now! getting its own show was one of the earliest examples of that happening that I remembered as a kid.

I wish there was a way to watch the entire series.. if anyone knows how I can watch it in its entirety, please let me know!! 😭🥺 This show was so unique and had a wide variety of skits that had something for everyone! I enjoyed watching Life with Loopy. The only episode I can remember was when she created some kind of ointment creature. I weirdly wanted to see if I could do it in real life as a kid.

Buddy then I got a surprise pitch for you. I'm pitching a TV movie fanfic about the cast of KaBlam! taking a cruise that's later going to be raided by a group of mobsters because the ship somebody tooked was gambled and not received it's due payment. So expect to see you tackle the suspension on how they'll escape a sunken ship, at some point in the story. But of course, before all that can become, it can't be KaBlam! without animated skits.

I never watched Kablam when i was a kid, most likely because it last reran when i was too little to understand it. But i've always loved the artstyle; the thick, black outlines, the bold, lively colors to contrast with it, the asymmetric/slightly messy drawings and how they could put so much variety in 1 show. Every show, while short, was different from another. It felt like there was something for everyone. My fave is Sniz and Fondue. And the way the Nick website was at the time, in the 1990s and early 2000s(I'm a 2000s kid) really reflected it. It was like an arcade where all the cool kids went after school, there were LOADS of fun games and music, bold retro colors/designs, and no matter how much it stayed the same, it felt like there was something new to try everyday. I was a kid in the mid 2000s/early 2010s, so while I didn't watch Kablam or fully witness the retro 2000s site, the closest thing that feels it was the Big Help thing in the Club, it was also lively and seemed to make the world a better place. If this show comes back, i think the world will be a better place again.

I absolutely loved KaBlam growing up! Sniz and Fondue, Action League Now, Life with Loopy, Prometheus and Bob, and The Offbeats were my most favorite segments. I had actually forgotten about the Offbeats until this video so thanks!. Also, Nick Offerman being in that one segment is CRAZY! Would have never remembered or imagined that 😆

I might be blending cartoons from way back, but maybe someone will rememeber with me. I recall renting a vhs back in the early 90s so the show could have been fairly older, but the vibe was 90s so yeah. I think it was set in space, I think the heroes were a group mixed with teens and adults, they had silver spacesuits, shot laser guns, and the only plot related thing I can remember from any of the 3 episodes that could fit on a single vhs, was they were seemingly trying to save some wildebeast from, or possibly onto, what seemed to be a nature preserve onboard a spaceship....

I love Kablam. Life With Loopy, Sniz and Fondue, Action League Now, and Jet Cat (which I can't believe you didn't mention) are my favorite shorts. I DESPISE Angela Anaconda, however.

If I'm remembering correctly, they managed to get KISS for that one Action League Now short because it was originally intended to be a theatrical short to play before Good Burger so it was given a larger budget for guests.

Plus, Scott Paulsen (who voiced Meltman and the narrator) told me that the band was already in Pittsburgh prior to a concert, so Nickelodeon got together with their band management to offer them the idea of starring in the short. I think it was just Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley participating voice-wise, but the entire band loved how it turned out anyway!
