Your training logs are the most entertaining ones on youtube for sure, yours and pete rubish's. Please dont stop uploading them because you think that people dont like em. Now if you think its boring to edit and shit thats another thing.

noticed that Chris is deadlifting thumbless with straps; also the half ton deadlift that Eddie Hall pulled was done thumbless with straps.... would be curious as to the benefits ofdoing it thumbless like that or reasons for doing that? (is it cause their wrists are fucked up and it just spares them pain or are there other benefits to it?) Cheers,

It let's them grip it lower in the hand. The lower in the hand they can hold it the "longer their arms" are. Longer lever makes better leverage

It Helps me mentally to see you do this. Just started sumo and my ego is taking a hit lol. But seeing you do this much weight this fast, I figure I can at least do a quarter of it. :) once I get 500 I'll be getting a deadlift whiskey shirt

Chris have you noticed that your right side on just about every deadlift is lower than your left? It looks like it might just be hand placement too..

Impressive ! improve your big toes position, can see clearly your ankle collapsing during conventional. Waiting forward too see more of you !

Improve your base : the feet ! Srong feet, big foot, big lift ! Dry them with an air dryer and then rub the toes with a towel, espacially in the weakness points (metatarsal ligaments), make them pump the blood.

Correct your pronation, one degree more or less will be huge difference. At your level details make the all the difference.

Chris - are you aiming to hit the 1000lb in a powerlifting meet (i.e. no straps etc) or a strongman competition (i.e. with straps) or in the gym to reach your Grand Goal? Can't believe how close you are....best of luck with those last 20 pounds! Thanks Matt

what's the difference between regular bar and deadlier bar?
@adamhipko6667 жыл бұрын
Deadlift bar has more bend and "whip" to it, so weight comes off the floor later in the pull

Hey Chris,whats that thing that you attach the bar when you do your pulls? Is it to measure bar speed?
@KaokashinPlays5 жыл бұрын
Yep bar velocity tracker to give him the average velocity
