I was a French soldier and I myself spent time in Afghanistan and Kabul in 2012. I must admit that this market is much more lively than at the time when French and American soldiers were there. Well on the other hand it's a Taliban country so don't exaggerate too much, women's rights reduced to nothing etc. Extremist Islam etc etc

Wow, I live in northern New jersey, I love where I live but I work over forty hours a week just to stay afloat, I'm looking at this place, no trash in the streets, no graffiti, no homeless tents, drug attic's. Looks like plenty of fresh food probably not treated with pesticides , plenty of simple old reliable Toyota"s basic simple transportation, no super fancy cars, just what works, I love my country, but we are supposed to be the greatest?
