Every once in a while I hear a lyric that feels like a punch in the gut because it's so honest, so truthful. When she sings "Just like dust, we settle in this town" I almost can't breathe it's so powerful.

That was the most beautiful thing I've seen at a concert ever! It's very evident she is the real deal and probably explains why she's not on the radio much here in the US. Her songs provoke such strong emotions and the controllers of the mainstream media and main stream radio can't have that. She's too high vibe for that shit and doesn't need them anyway! Yay!
@ozarkana5 жыл бұрын
After she won the Grammy, I decided I should check her out, and I am totally amazed that I missed out on her! Great lyrics, musicianship and stage presence to start with, but as a songwriter myself, I love her honesty and openness to share her feelings. I've always felt that the ability to make an audience cry is the most important and rewarding aspect of songwriting. It's a feeling I have experienced myself, so to find another writer with that ability is amazing... yes.. she can make me cry!
@billdewrell84363 жыл бұрын
I just love this girl. I'm a big, dumb oaf, but I cry everytime I hear this song. It should be the anthem of all of us that barely made it (or currently making it) through life. Imperfect parents, imperfect us..but we love Goodwill, love our kids best we can, and stand proud that we grew up in the greatest Country in the World.
