Really? I personally felt like their voices did not go well at all. Kacey has a huskier, lighter voice while Katy has a powerful voice and the whole time it felt like Katy's voice was just overshadowing Kacey's voice even if it was unintentional.

the essence of Merry Go Round is that they have been trapped on the ride for so long and Kacey portrays this especially good with her laid back voice inflection which Katy completely destroys with dramatic harmony and ad-lib on her verse

I disagree to me Katy has by far the stronger and better pure singing talent after listening. Kacey's voice is beautiful but much weaker in comparison to Katy. that's why Kacey has trouble harmonizing with Katy and not the other way around.
