I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, but could never get into country. My genre of choice is heavy metal...Pantera, Megadeth, Five Finger Death Punch, etc... My wife played rainbow in the car for my daughter...I was shook. I have never heard such a blend of songwriting, and that voice....a soul massage. Since last week, I've been listening to Kacey on loop...all her albums. The combination of her voice, the band...which deserves more credit...her amazing song writing skills....I'm in awe. Reminds me of old school Jewel when she was folksy. I really cannot believe that I'm this stuck on an artist, especially a country artist. Not sure what's happening to me, lol. My wife heard me jamming to her when I was in the garage, she is wondering who took her husband. I just cannot stop though, her music is pure tranquility to me. Amazing. Maybe I'll still wear my Pantera shirt to the next Kacey concert?

My 2nd favorite song of "Golden Hour" - only "High Horse" is even better. The lyrics are something I can feel. The melody is quite calm which makes me concentrate on her voice and message even more. The audience is actually listening to her performance and not on Facebook.
