This is a wonderfull song both lyrically and musically from a wonderfull singer songwriter and a good guitarist. One thing here though had been bugging me and that was how Kacey was creating that fuller (picked) sound with just her 1 guitar. After trying to replicate it (which is almost possible if you detune the high E down to a D) ...and having since studied her picking patterns over and over ... I am 100 % certain now that there is a 2nd guitar backing her up off camera picking the higher notes! If you study the picking patterns closely you can see that she is not actually picking those higher notes herself! That in no way detracts from a wicked performance from an extremely talented girl....but it had been bugging me and I thought it should be noted for anyone not aware of that fact!
