In todays video we install a very important suspension mod on the duramax! It is far from cheap but should insure not having a major problem like ball joint failure!

Sweet man!! I also just installed a similar kit on my 08 2500hd 6.0 that came with the same upper control arms, keys, and bilstiein shocks. And oh man…Does it ride better!! I have 33in 295/55R/20s on my truck and this kit was able to give me back my full turn radius as well!! I will say though I am just abt sitting on the bump stop and I was wondering if I need to remove it or not. But overall sweet install!! You will definitely appreciate having new shocks when you get some!!My OEM ones were blown!!😂

I have the Motofab upper control arms and only have 9000 miles on them / less than one year and the bushings went bad and it squeaks. I ordered Kryptonite upper control arms and hoping this fixes the problems and prevents issues in the future

for the polly mounts inside the upper and all that its not good to use normal grease it will decay and break away the polyurethane they sell a grease called green grease its made for applications like this would recommend to change it out

I’m watching this maybe 2 months after doing wheel bearings, UCA’s and tie rods on my 03 and it was a 3 day project. And about 70 hours of those 3 days was torching, cutting and grinding bolts off. Why do I still live in PA lmao

I recommend the rough country v2 shocks they make them for different lengths so you don’t have to use the extensions, cheaper than Fox but ride the same

I got them for my f150 because it was really the only option and I was impressed for the price point they ride good

@@straight4.646 they actually pretty expensive at 250 a pair but they really aren’t comparable to rough country’s cheaper shocks I think they are up there with fox and bilstein quality

I got the exact same truck as you. My front bumper is sagging on the passenger side and the lower headlight is too. Any ideas on how to straighten it up?

Get a jack with a piece of wood on it and jack up the bracket on the side, and you can replace the headlight bracket too, there like $20
